I have several cats and several pet carriers. This is by far the best carrier I ever purchased! All my cats love it. I have cats that weight 7 lbs and cats that weigh 13 lbs and they all fit comfortably. When it comes to plane travel, this is absolutey the best! When you are waiting at the gate, you can open both sides and give them extra room. The fact that the sides are squares is really good, since it truly gives them enough space to walk around. When on the plane and all zipped up, the mesh is only on the two sides and the top, which is great, as some of my cats find that comforting and makes them feel more secure. For some of the others, I can open one side while I am sitting on the plane, to give them more room. I can even put a small litter box for the smaller cats when the sides are open. For visits at the vet, I am thrilled I can open the carrier on the top or the side, as some of them are hard to pull out, unless I can open the top. I absolutely love it!

Happy beyond words with this carrier. Have used it 4 times now and puppy loves it. Was going to store it away between uses but it has become a permanent fixture in our living room because she loves to chill inside it or zoom in one door and out the other.. you see it has 2 zipper doors, one on either extension, a third zipper door in the middle and a fourth up top (like a sunroof). So she has lots of holes to poke in and out of. We just leave all the flaps open. The floor soft and fluffy and made of a material that is easy to wash. Some people complain about all the zippers like how there is a zipper wall inside for the extensions. I just leave those unzipped.. but there will always be some people complaining about something or other, no matter how trivial. Buy it, you will be pleased.

I purchased this carrier to fly with my two toy poodles(7lb & 5lb) with Allegiant. When I was at the airport I opened both sides for the dogs to have more room then closed the sides when we boarded the plane and for take off. It mostly fit under the seat in front of me. Once we were in the air I opened one side compartment for them to move around more. I’m happy I found this bag and they both fit in it perfect. They love to snuggle and I think they did better flying bc they were in the carrier together rather than in separate ones. They scratched the mesh but were not able to tear it. I brought. Small “blanket” to cover the bag when it the sides were expanded bc my dogs are very social so it helped for them not to be so distracted and hyper.Pics are on Allegiant.The carrier fits under the seat with one side open best if you are in the middle seat bc the the foot room in the middle has a greater width than the window and aisle seats.
