Multiple....
Got these for my lil nephew and he loves them! he was putting letters to form words and breaking them down to form new words. I got these as they have multiple letters as well as both upper and lower case in addition to multiple numbers. Cannot go wrong.

Great for Early Readers
I ordered these for my grandson. They say that kids will learn to read when they're ready, but a little push in that direction can't hurt. While trying to write can be tedious and difficult for very beginners just learning the alphabet, this set is a great alternative, There are plenty of upper and lower case letters, so making simple words (or even stringing a few together) is quite simple. The magnetic board holds the letters nicely but still allows them to be moved easily. All of the letters fit into a sturdy divided case with each letter having its own slot. Numbers are placed into the slots with some of the letters. The kit includes a few dry erase markers (the reverse side of the magnetic board is a dry erase board), the basic mathematical operation signs, and a dry erase eraser. I would suggest that you help your child to get the letters back into their proper slots. The letters themselves are made of a foam material with a magnetic back. It's hard to say how well these will hold up over time and is the reason that I did not rate this product at 5 stars. If you have a kiddo who's just beginning to learn the alphabet, or just learning to read, this is a great addition to your shelf of "learning tools." Personally, I am looking forward to helping my grandson to spell his name, his dog's name, and his cat's name.

My class loves this! Great for classroom use and home schooling!
We have been enjoying using this set in my PreK classroom. My little ones love using the magnet board to trace the foam magnet letters with dry erase markers, make their names, and use the white board to write words they make with the letters. Some of my students like to use the board and letters to pretend they are teachers teaching lessons about how to make words, which is so cute! They also enjoy matching the foam letters, sorting and classifying letters in the appropriate compartment letters in the storage case. I love that the foam magnets hold up well in an active preschool classroom, are easy for them to use and manipulate, a snap to store and put away, is versatile and sturdy enough for lots of active play in different ways. It also has a few of each letter in this set which allows you to make more complex words. (Usually sets like these only have one or two of each letter, but this one is much better because you get multiple of each letter.) They love that it is a fun way to learn their letters.Another feature that makes this set a great item is that the whole letter has a magnet backing, (rather than just a tiny partial magnet backing like other sets might have), which means each magnet stays on the board without sliding down. The magnetic white board is very sturdy and a just right size for one or two students to work collaboratively together, which is something I encourage anyways in my classroom. I also love that my set has both blue letters for consonants and red for vowels so my little ones can be exposed to learning this concept in a fun way.I did think the cardboard box that it was packaged with was different in that it was packaged with Christmas photo on the box, (so perfect if you are making this a Christmas gif LOL!) , but it really wasn’t a problem for me since I wasn’t going to keep the cardboard box anyways, since it comes with an awesome storage organizer box that WILL last in any busy classroom and it can obviously be used year round. The provided dry erase marker was good quality, but I would definitely buy some colored dry erase markers if you want to focus on having children highlight vowels in red or consonants in blue (a teacher trick) or if you want more than one child to use it at the same time.I also even use this at nap time for little ones that might need a calming activity, so this is the “just perfect”quiet activity it keeps them pretty engaged since they can write, make words, match letters, etc.I definitely recommend this set for classroom teachers, homeschooling, or anyone who wants to promote literacy by exposing their child to learning letters early on. This set is practical, interesting to my students (because they always come up with new ways to use it) and makes a great tool for learning. Highly recommend!

Best alphabet learning set on the market!
I am a reading specialist and I have a TON of learning tools in my classroom. I work with students from ages 4-12. This set is BY FAR the best one! It has lightweight letters, numbers, and punctuation with excellent magnetic power on the INCLUDED whiteboard/blackboard, which is also very sturdy and well-made. They are all organized in the individual compartments of a plastic box which has each one ALREADY LABELED with the letters (no room in the box for numbers, but I pulled those out anyway because I only need letters). There are dry-erase markers and an eraser for the whiteboard side; all of these are very nice and they DO fit inside the plastic box. It has both capital and lowercase letters (which is hard to find) and, my favorite feature, SEVERAL DUPLICATES OF EACH LETTER! This is so rare, most alphabet sets only come with 1 of each letter, so forget spelling mom, bib, or spill. It is also COLOR COORDINATED! This is huge for children learning their letters and learning word families when beginning to read. Vowels are red, capitals are green, and lowercase letters are blue (numbers are yellow). I can assure you this is a huge asset and adds to the fact that this set is so invaluable. My students absolutely love this set, too, and every time I grab it as our choice to practice, they are thrilled! It's colorful, it's fun to use magnets, it's easy to find what letter they're looking for, and it's just plain cute.It came well-packaged and very giftable. The plastic wrap that was on each side to protect it from scratches came off very easily, and that's an important factor when you are detail oriented and an organizational freak such as myself. This is one of the best items I have ever gotten for my classroom and when I think about it only being about $20, I'm dumbfounded! This set is a steal and easily worth a lot more. I HIGHLY recommend it! Wish I could give it 10 stars!
