SUPCASE for Samsung Galaxy S23 Case with Stand (Unicorn Beetle Pro), [Built-in Front Frame & Belt-Clip] [Military-Grade Drop Protection] Full-Body Rugged Kickstand Phone Case for Galaxy S23, Tilt

I evaluated 4 rugged cases for my Samsung S23: Supcase UB Pro, Caseborne, Poetic Spartan and ExoGuard. All have rugged protection with cushioned corners and deep bezels front and back. All sit fairly flat on their backs on a desk and feel solid when installed. Here are brief summaries of each, with dimensions in inches.Supcase Beetle UB Pro: Best overall for me. Thinnest (not by a lot), best for edge swipes, comfortable edges, good buttons, decent grip, historically proven good protection, looks great. Metallic finish is super cool, but not sure how it will hold up since it’s some kind of coating. Has enough bezel clearance around a glass screen protector as long as the protector is well-centered, I installed it with the Supcase bezel in place.Height: 6.19Width: 3.21Thickness: .580 ends, .540 sidesCaseborne: Best overall rugged protection, although with a weirdly huge camera cutout. Fantastic grip and buttons. But, strangely sharp edges on TPU make for ear discomfort; that and the shape of the front bezel make edge swipe gestures less reliable, a little frustrating. Not sharp as in a cut hazard, but kinda catches the finger and digs the ear. Seems even bulkier than it is because the angles (chamfers) around the edges are steeper. Looks good, solid color plastic looks OK, not as cool as metallic, but won’t ever wear or scratch away. My second choice.Height: 6.17Width: 3.30Thickness: .610Poetic Spartan: Coolest looking, very good overall, EXCEPT screen opening was exactly the same size as the glass screen protectors I bought. Not bigger to allow clearance, not smaller to definitively overlap, the same size which would lift the edges of the protector. Weird design oversight IMHO, and a fatal flaw if you use a glass screen protector. Metallic finish is super cool, but not sure how it will hold up since it’s some kind of coating.Height: 6.22Width: 3.25Thickness: .600ExoGuard: Lower cost and quite good overall. But noticeably just a bit lower quality, buttons stiff and mushy. Bezel opening was a little sketchy on how it would fit with a glass screen protector, odd because it comes with one. In 2015 I purchased a Galaxy S5 and a Supcase for it. The Supcase back had a protective lens over the camera and came with a screen protector. The buttons were covered as well as a dust cover for the charging port. Over time, the case deteriorated. But I kept it going until around 2022.When I purchased a Galaxy S23 4 months ago, I purchased this case for it.There's a lot of talk on the internet about screen and camera lens protectors. In the end, I guess, it depends on how you carry and use your phone.To me, if I'm going to expose my screen and camera lenses to harsh use or environments, I'd want a protector. However, now I would need to keep the protectors clean to keep the resolution of the camera lenses as well as the performance of the screen and hope that abrasive material hadn't come between the screen, lenses and protectors.If you are on the fence about the above, you can do more research to determine the durability of your phone screen and camera lenses. Which will lead you to more variables.In this case, I went by the previous experience I had with Supcase on my Galaxy S5, cost of comparable products and wanting to immediately give my new phone some protection. My first Supcase, was reasonably priced, lasted and did the job.This Supcase paid for itself a month ago. My two week old Galaxy S23, took a 5 foot drop onto a concrete floor, bounced twice and suffered no damage or scratches. This was without any screen or camera lens protectors.Does this mean I won't do further research for more protection for my Galaxy S23? No. I'll do research and find what works for me.For now, this Supcase already paid for itself by saving my new S23. Maybe the phone would have been alright without the case, but I'm glad it had it. Especially after seeing the phone bounce twice off the floor.

Edit to add- less than 2 months later the kickstand frequently pops out of the track. The edge that you use to open it has cracked. The finger brace has left my finger very sore. If you use the finger brace frequently, this will not go well. I glued the kickstand shut ans added a love handle pro. Back to comfort.I've had a few drops and the case has done it's job well.Likes- great, light case of the same quality that we've had before with them. Love the kick stand that doubles as a finger brace/holder.Dislikes- no screen protection on the s23. We usually have screen protection and add an extra glass shield. Using the stand as a finger grip is uncomfortable because it's rough and the corners of plastic are rough too.This does allow the back to sit flat for charging pads, but doesn't allow for my love handle strap.Advice-- add screen protection and comfort to the underside and edges of the stand/grip.

This is hands down, the best case on the market! I recently this case over any other brand name and swear by its resilience, strength, and ability to protect my phone. Everyone in our family has this case and it has never failed!

My order arrived and was missing the protective cover. So I have to reorder and seek refund for did one. I think I will go with a different brand to avoid future frustration.

This is an excellent high quality case.I I had to search for a while before I found one that didn't hVe a built in screen protector. I love that you can put a genuine glass screen and camera protector on.

Works well but I wish it had the in-built screen protection like the cases for older models

Hatte bisher ein günstigeres Case für mein Samsung S23. Früher hatte ich für ein anderes Samsung schon mal ein SupCase. Bin echt froh, das ich für das S23 nun wieder ein SupCase habe. Super Qualität. Da macht sparen keinen Sinn. Ist aber schon teuer .

Non ha la protezione sullo schermo come tanti si lamentano perché se no il sensore impronte del Samsung S23 non funziona, basta mettere una pellicola e le coperture alle fotocamere e il telefono é protetto.
