I absolutely love this bookcase!!! I had my bedroom remodeled and the closet moved to the opposite side of the room, because of a built in bookcase on the other side of the wall, I have a space where we originally planned on putting in shelves but as I was looking for something else this bookcase came up and I had a new idea. It was true to the measurements and fit perfect into the space giving me shelves and yet cabinet space to tuck away some things. It was easy to put together, the instructions were great and easy to understand, every piece was there and well marked and it was easy to put in the space before I put the 2 pieces together. It is a bit heavy so I suggest having a second person I did struggle a little but I am too stubborn so I was able to get the top piece on. It looks great and left me extra room to add another shelf above it. I would definitely buy this brand again as it is a quality piece.

As my wife and I have recently moved long distance, I have been on a bit of a Chinese assemble-it-yourself binge lately. Some stuff is complete and utter garbage (see my review of the https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001KW0B7Y?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). This is NOT garbage. This bookshelf/drawer combo is sturdy, well-made, and a great value for the price. Assembly is a bit tedious, but there were no missing parts/hardware, the components were of good quality, alignment of assembly holes was excellent, and the whole process was logical and well illustrated in the instructions. About as far away from the Prepac garbage as one can get. Highly recommended.

Let me start by saying that at first I was going to rate this 1 star. But because it is pretty and the sturdiest, best constructed bookshelf, I've ever had (or seen). Because of that, I'm giving a rating of 4 stars. This is why:1 - As soon as the box was opened, I made sure all the pieces were there according to the parts list. There were 4 of the rails that attach the drawer together. But when trying to put it together, there was no part for the rail on the drawer to fit onto the wall of the shelf. Contacted the seller.2 - Seller responded with a screen print of the parts list, saying that all the parts were there.3 - Wrote back to the seller telling them in more detail what I meant, with attachment pics of the parts provided.4 - Seller responded with another screen print of the rails extended, saying that part 1 of the rail was on one end and part 2 was on the other end.5 - Wrote back. There is no way to detach it.6 - Seller sent websites that were SUPPOSED to show me how to do it.7 - Still not helpful. But one of the sites (on YouTube) led me to another (from a different manufacturer) that gave me a clue. After watching 8-10 videos I finally got it. There is one especially that gives a closeup of the part(s). With that one, when slowing the speed of the video to 25%, I could actually see it. (It is from the same manufacturer, but not in the list that the seller provided.) There is a lever on one end that releases the ends, in order to pull apart. Bingo, I could put the drawers in place.The instructions have no written description to add to the installation pictures. And the pictures are not big enough to see everything. GRRR. I wrote back to the seller to thank them for their patience dealing with me and giving them feedback on the instructions. They said they would pass it along to improve them.So glad I watched the videos. If you're confused too, be sure to look up the manufacturer's videos. (Caution, the most helpful one in specific is for a different item, but has the same rails for the drawer assembly.)Side note: My son has always asked me if I searched YouTube, but I always forget. (duh) But if my feedback is actually acted upon, it was all worth it.

I needed a narrow bookcase for my bedroom and this does the job very well. It is easy to assemble but it took about 4 hours. Heavy, around 75 pounds, but very sturdy when assembled . I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it highly.

The white of the bookcase do not match the doors…so disappointing.the doors are a brighter white :(

We ordered two shelving units. One long box arrived and we were confused as this was an incomplete order. Contacted the seller and they responded immediately stating they will be delivered soon. They were delivered within a day or two after the response. The quality of the shelves is excellent. They are well-built, sturdy, and exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend these shelving units.

Got this shelf to organize TTRPG things (books, floor tiles, dice, ECT.) and I am pleased with it. The shelf is sturdy and has plenty of room.The issues that I had with it are as follows:1. On one panel the laminate was peeling up straight out of the box. This was an easy enough fix but a little disappointing since I ordered this brand new and not used.2. On one of the drawer slides the ball bearings had come out and were all over in the baggie the slide came in. I'm handy enough and was able to put the slide back together.3. The holes are "pre drilled" but I came across several that didn't make it all the way through when they should have.

I would have made the drawer enable to take document files.

I measured the space n bought it doe yet somehow seems smaller then i was expecting. Cheaply made but ok for the price. Good not great

Its small and cheap quality. Plus door color is different then rest of shelf.
