I'm using this sensor with the Home Assistant BLE integration. Pairing was simple and fast and it pushes updates every few seconds. It's very responsive, particularly the humidity reading. As far as accuracy, the temperature reading seems to be pretty spot on. Humidity is hard to determine unless you own a calibrated sensor to compare it against (I don't) but it doesn't seem too far off from other sensors I have.The Govee app does allow you to "calibrate" the sensor by adjusting the readings, but that only applies on the device's display and in the Govee app. Those adjustments aren't reflected in Home Assistant so you'll probably have to use a compensation sensor configuration for that.I use this to control my A/C in my living room via HA automations so it needs to update frequently and have reasonable accuracy, and this does exactly that.

The device works well and the app is really nice. I can tell they put good honest work into the app. It always works and the bluetooth range is very good. It gives a history report, daily, hourly, weekly and such for a few different metrics including temp, humidity and more. This is perfect for say RV use and you need to make sure the humidity stays below 50% or something because it also will send you alerts through your notifications on your phone.

I have a few Govee products and they're pretty decent. This came at a good price and works well. My only complaint and reason for only giving 4 stars is that it doesn't have a back light. When it's darker in the home or when the lighting isn't just right, it can be hard to read the device. I bought this with a dehumidifier. Unfortunately, Govee's dehumidifiers were ridiculously priced, so I didn't stick with the brand for that purchase. I also like knowing I can check on the temp in the house when I'm away from home or look back at trends if I didn't have time to check during the day. Overall, it's a great product, it would be perfect by adding backlight.

We use the data to track trends over time.And let’s talk about the brightness — the display is sharp and readable even from across the room, but not too bright to be distracting when we use it in the bedroom at night.Highly recommend if you want a smart and affordable way to monitor your indoor environment!

This thermometer/hygrometer works very well. The app that should be installed is very straightforward. One thing that disappointed me and surprised me at the same time was that I needed the device to measure the temperature at a level lower than -4 degrees (f) (that's stated as the lowest level in the specs). I was extremely surprised when the device did report several degrees past -4 (f) and that was a pleasant surprise! Thanks for a great product GOVEE!
