This book is not worth the price. Just a pretty cover full of stock photos from Getty Images. The writing is amateur with no substance or information about the history of Aspen. Just full of quotes and words about how beautiful Aspen is. There are better books available for less money. At almost $100 this book is not worth it, which is the main reason for me giving it one star. Great decoration for a coffee table at a ski lodge or maybe a single flip-through at the bookstore, but you're better off buying a couple local Aspen magazines.

I was very excited for this book because I loved my time in Aspen, however this book is 271 pages long and has not one image of a person of color. Super disappointing.
