Daughter enjoys the different noises of each animal.

First jigsaw arrived it did not work but on contacting seller we received a new one the next day. Grandchild loves it.

Easy to set up and very entertaining.

I thought we had an animal ghost in the house but it turns out it was this puzzle randomly going off in the night.

My granddaughter loves this animal puzzle, the sounds make her laugh as she tries to repeat them, she also love putting the pieces in their places.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this melissa and doug sound puzzle as I want to teach my toddler about animals and the sounds their make. My toddler still keeps mouthing toys and I thought this wooden puzzle could stand her chewing but not! I also notice that the cat wood was not well made as there was a hole/cut on the wood. You also need two triple A batteries for this one.Though the quality of the wood was not great, I can say that I’m still happy with the sounds that the animals make and my little one is still having good time with it. Still a good learning sound puzzle but could be cheaper.

Having this type of puzzle with sounds adds interest to what the child is doing. Unfortunately when they are learning how to use it they get rewarded with an animal sound even if they are putting the wrong animal into the cutout space .Because it works by the animal shape blocking out the light to activate the sound, if you cover the sensor an animal sound is made.. regardless of what animal is placed there . Bit confusing for younger children.However , the older children who know that’s incorrect do find it funny .

Great little puzzle but very surprised it didn’t come with batteries as Melissa and Doug puzzles I have bought previously came with batteries included. Sad as it was given as a present whilst we were away and so couldn’t be used.
