perfect - even for professional use!
Great product!I tested it thoroughly - I earn a living by char-grilling, so be sure my tests were very demanding for the product.1. Easy test: I baked bread and had the oven at around 280 C. Used the gloves to take out the hot shelf and put it back in the oven. I made that extra slow and was happy that my fingers still felt very good.2. Medium test: BBQ - charcoal is white and hot in the chimney starter (by the way, you should always use such a thing to get a fast an brilliant glowing charcoal). Put on the gloves and pour new charcoal on the still very hot char-grill. In one hand the chimney starter in the other the grill. Still perfect comfortable in the gloves - they are by the way long enough on your arm if you are over the fire with them.So far for what they guarantee. Now let's go for the real challenges.3. Hard test: My char-coal is not lying right - so I put on the gloves and move the white glowing charcoal around with my hands - getting brave, I even carry some pieces around for a few seconds. Inside the gloves it is getting warm now - but only a little bit. Still very comfortable. But I nearly burned my fingers when I moved out of the gloves - tearing them with my other bare hand. So be careful: the gloves get very well hot on the outside as you would expect.4. Very hard test: Normally I don't use char-coal briquettes, but I had to test a new brand. And these briquettes really get f...... hot! So I did the same as before, moving even the red and white briquettes around in my hands. That is nearly the limit of the gloves - it's getting quite warm inside the gloves - not that you would hurt yourself, but it is becoming uncomfortable.5. Fire test: Finally I wanted to test what happens if you use the gloves with open fire. So I filled up the char-grill with a lot of liquid starter and burned it. Fiddling around in the fire is absolutely no problems for the gloves. And neither for the hands inside. It even rarely gets warm inside. But keep in mind that liquids can get easily into the gloves - if that is liquid fire starter or boiling water, you probably will have a huge problem. That's so far the only disadvantage I can see for these gloves. After all, how do they look on the outside? A little dirty of course and a few spots where tissue got a little bit brown. But after washing they look nearly as new - except of e very few very small brown spots.Compared with my old very thick leather gloves - which last as good in the heat as these gloves - these ones are really flexible and you have all five fingers to grab and handle things.I'm really happy with them and will use them in the future for my professional char-grilling. Good by old leather gloves. I loved you - but it lasted only until I found these little cuties...

Not fully heat resistant
For a man, in terms of size, I find these to be very practical gloves. Unfortunately, that is where the positive review ends. My high hopes for these gloves ended in disappointment. They do not protect against the heat for more than a short duration of time - in my case, taking a tray from a fan oven (at approximately 180/200' Celsius) for a maximum of 20/30 seconds. Unfortunately, despite the marketing, they do not stand up to the hype and, most definitely, do not warrant the selling price of (almost) £31.00.

These are the best ever oven gloves.
Bought these gloves for my wife. who usually manages to burn her wrists on the side of the oven when using ordinary oven mitts. These gloves are long and super heat resistant. No burns this week! My wife says they feel much more secure than ordinary gloves or mitts, thanks to the extra grips. As the gloves don't transmit meet heat it is also possiblle to take time before putting hot casserole dishes down so much safer. The gloves are really well made.If you're hesitating about buying them - don't. They're really good and would be cheap at twice the price.

apart from that they frickin awesome! Should probably get em while at this low ...
My ,my what can I add that hasn't already been written above me ! Superb oven gloves ,no doubt .Will last along time as they are proper quality ,look very professional with the snazzy orange flame ! :-D at this price you'd be crazy not to get them! No more burnt pinkies that's for sure, my only tiny gripe is that they are very large ,far too big for even my long fingers so its a crying shame they don't do them in smaller sizes ,apart from that they frickin awesome !Should probably get em while at this low price as stuff made from Aramid tends to go up in price .

Top Oven Gloves
My elderly Mum recently purchased a new cooker whose oven is considerablylower than her old faithful (which she had for thirty years!) and involves a farbigger stoop than she is accustomed to to remove hot dishes and their contents.I was concerned that she was going to burn her forearms in the process andthese Long Cuff Gloves have proved to be the ideal solution. They reach almostup to her elbows, affording exactly the degree of protection I was hoping for.A brilliant invention. She loves them!

Perfect for the job
If you have a halogen oven then these are a MUST-HAVE. The long cuffs stop you burning your wrists and the gripping thingys means you don't have to worry about dropping your dish on the way up. AND.......no more dangling the teatowel or oven gloves in your food as you try to lift it out!Single, long cuff gloves with grip strips are not easy to come by and these fit the bill.I have the large/XL ones so that my other half can use them too but, provided you don't have teeny hands, these fit just fine without too much excess material flopping around!I highly recommend these gloves.

THE BEST OVEN GLOVES EVER!
I recently got a new built in oven, which I love. But because it has drop down doors I kept burning my forearms on the edges of the shelves reaching into the oven. When I saw these gloves I thought they could be the answer to my problem. I did look at others but because of the reviews and cost I choose these gloves.I'm so pleased I did. They come right up my forearms covering all the places I've burnt in the past and now I have no problem lifting out heavy dishes. I found them easy to put on and they give fingers and thumbs much more freedom than normal oven gloves.I would recommend these oven gloves to anyone, even my 12 year old grandson was impressed and wanted to take them home so I bought some for his mam.

Excellent Gloves with Wrist Protection
Good practical gloves, as long as you don't get them wet - do watch out as it's sometimes easy to get a thumb wet while handling food without noticing it, and this really does reduce protection. The labels and instructions do warn you of this, so pay attention! The size of the Large / Extra Large is unusually accurate; these gloves are large enough for my big hands, and almost too large for my wife. If you're built on a smaller scale, don't be tempted to buy too large a size.
