This was a genuine Casio. It is easy to read, very light and reliable and is extremenly good value for money. It is no suitbale for underwater swimming - but then who, apart from divers, what to tell the time underwater. The only deficiency, in my opinion is the lack of a low battery indicatior. When the battery is "end of life" the watch will simply just stop. Granted the battery may last for 3 years, but if you want reliablity, I would suggest that you will need to change the battery at least every 2 years.

This watch is good value for money, however it is rather on the small side and the strap is not that long if you have large wrists. I bought it as a second watch so I don't damage my good watch. Ended up giving this my me 11 year old son as it fits him much better. The face did look a little lost on my wrist. The watch works well and keeps good time as you would expect. It is very light as well as being sturdy enough to take a few knocks along the way. The strap is stung and well made, all good apart from the size being too small for me nut thats a personal thing. Still great value for the money.

Firstly, this is a cheap watch, it is no Omega, but for functionality it is a real bargain. My wife wanted a durable watch for work, something that was easy to see and read, and the first thing she said to me is "I want a watch with 12 numbers on it and mites shown too" - well try and find one, as these two things seem to be out of fashion now, but like her I also think they are essential in a watch, having to 'guess' minutes is a nightmare, especially of someone asks you the time and you say well it is 12 minutes or maybe 13 minutes past one ! She says the strap is easy to fasten and very comfortable to wear, and of course black markings on a white background couldn't be better. It proved to be quite accurate too, gaining about 1 minute every 2 months or so. Yes, we both have expensive "smart watches" but you just wouldn't want to wear them to work for fear of scratching or loosing them. Now the downside, well there would be one for a watch at this price. This is the second one of these watches she has had, the previous one lasted 19 months, then the battery went flat, and for starters the case was difficult to open up and then getting the battery out actually broke the battery contacts, even though I took great care. So yes, buy this watch it is good value, but when the battery goes, (to get it replaced professionally could cost the price of a new watch anyway, we were quoted £5) just 'bin it' and buy a new one like I did ! It still gets 5 stars though as the last one cost £0.37 a MONTH over the 18 months it worked !

I've had this watch for just over a week and so far it has kept very good time. I've compared it to a radio controlled clock and in that time it has only gained about two seconds so I expect it to be only around 30 seconds out each time I have to change it from GMT to BST and back again twice a year. The watch is very neat, reasonably slim and the strap is more than long enough. The dial is particularly clear, is a good size and doesn't have any distracting embellishments or fancy functions so is very easy to read at a glance. It is also very light and has a classy and minimalist design. It's too soon to say how long it will last but I'll be happy if it only lasts 12 months though I expect it will last much longer than that however I would not be surprised if it costs more to replace the battery than the price of the watch. I delayed buying one as some reviews claimed that the strap was not long enough but I don't consider my wrists to be on the small size and the strap would go up another 3 notches. At £6 it is brilliant value for money and I wish I'd bought one sooner. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good watch which simply tells the time. If they made them in different colours for the same price I'd buy more than one.

Good for work. Clear, easy view face. Water Resistant.

I know this was stated as a unisex watch but hubby just wanted a clear view cheap watch until he get his cataracts seen to but sadly this is too small for him to actually read clearly. However, for a young person who wants a trendy easy to wear watch I think this would be ideal. HOWEVER, I started a return. Watch was not even taken out of packaging as hubby could not see figures so no need to. At 74, I do my best and have always followed the Amazon return on items I need to return. I was instructed to take code to post office and they would print off label. So far so good. However, my refund was deducted by £3.30 for this return. No mention was made about this by seller, I even checked that returns would be accepted etc. No mention about return postage being deducted. I could have advertised this locally and at brand new it would have sold instantly for £10. I do not like the way that this company operates so therefore product may be ok but the way they work is not!

Well, What a chew on I had looking for a good, spare watch. I have a posh watch for those occasions when only the best will do. But I didn't want to use it for everyday use. I've been through two other watches (both well known, family brands) and they were both around £30 and fell apart within a few months. I then bought a watch from a high street outlet that was around £5 and the strap gave out before the end of week one. I bought this as the reviews were good and at the price mentioned, I thought it worth the risk. I've now had it for three months. I wear it while I'm playing squash, between two and three times per week. I leave it on when I'm in the shower to give it a good wash and it copes very well. On holiday I was in and out of the pool deep end (ok, only 2 metres )and it works fine. It's simple in form and function. It keeps very good time. It has a plain look which means it's un-noticed in meetings or when you're out. Some reviews say the strap is not very long - this was my main concern before purchase, concerns were unfounded.
