Columbia walking boots
Ordered 5.5 but had to return for a size 6, normally a 5, run a bit small, to get a thicker sock on.Feel very comfy, leather soft, good sole, nice design and laces. Not done a hike yet, Scotland awaits...

Nice looking boot but runs small
Looks good and well made, but half a size up and still feels snug around the toe box. If you have narrow, shallow feet, these may be great for you. I consider my feet normal and not ok for me - bend of my forefoot caused nasty pressure

Comfy light weight walking boot
Very comfy and surprising light walking boot. Unfortunately I had to return as faulty as the right boot leaked water from walking in dewy grass, no rain. But like them so much brought a replacement pair.

Not waterproof
I had high hopes for these boots as they had a lot of good reviews. I wore them on a long hike up Snowdon for the first time and was worried I may get blisters but they were super comfortable. It was only until I got just over halfway and the rain started to get heavier that I realised these are not waterproof at all, it felt like I was walking in puddles. Once I got to the top, off they came and the water poured out. I can't fault Amazon with providing a quick refund.

Don't bother buying this
Awful shoes. After just three hours of wearing them I've left with deep cuts in my toes due to the inner part of the shoe cutting into them as I walk. Before you think: you must have bought the wrong size - nope - like others, I sized up. I'm never buying a Columbia shoe again.

So disappointed
I was excited to purchase these with all the great reviews but so so disappointed. They are a lovely design and super light, so that's great. The down side for me is first the toe crease. I thought it would be just a matter of breaking them in. I wore extra thick socks and even blister plasters but after nearly two weeks I am suffering. My big toe has been left very sore and bleeding across the top. There is also the rubbing at the back of my foot. Granted I walk 5-10 miles a day and then longer at weekends. However after an 8 mile walk I do not expect rubbing to the point where it makes my foot bleed and painful. Not for the price of these boots.Found them not to be waterproof. Though my feet didn't feel wet, when I take my boots off my socks are wet. Finally, compare to my previous Solomon boots, the size for a 6, is on the small side. When I compare them, there is a difference of at least an inch. Maybe this is why I'm having problems with the toe crease.

Great until they split after one year
I bought these boots in January 2023 and I have pretty much worn them everyday. I walk on a flat sometimes muddy trail for about an hour a day. I have done the odd long, hilly walk in them and they have been really comfortable and were waterproof. Just over a year later and they have split right by the sole so I can no longer wear them as I get wet feet. Really disappointed considering the price. I thought they would last me a long time.
