How to avoid dishwasher problems.
Simply never place fine tools in the dishwasher. When I was an apprentice, knife lesson number 3 was: Blades are to be wiped with a damp rag in one hand with the the backplane against that hand, continuing to wipe down edge. Dry immediately. I could tell by the sound that these are not hand made, and are not tempered for excess. These are artisans tools, not a butchers. Slices potatoes like a hot blade through butter.

Top quality
Bought these a couple of years ago as a ValentinesDay gift for my husband. He’s always wanted posh knives and though I wasn’t a cook at the time I knew Sabattier were the best and Sheffield steel can’t be beaten.Since then I’ve pretty much taken over the cooking and use these every day. Wonderful set that looks good on the kitchen counter and great value for the quality. I bake my own bread and love the bread knife. Still haven’t had to sharpen them.

Great set of knives
Would recommend!! Came well packed and extremely sharp. Very well balanced knives to use and the block is well designed. Would definitely buy again 👍Not the cheapest on Amazon but I still think good value.
