These are so much better then the 1st generation force fields I bought a very long time ago. These are set in place and do not move from the front of the shoe. The other 1's would bunch up in the shoe and be very uncomfortable. You can tell these are in place and holding the shoe tight from any creases at all. I recommend these if u wanna keep your shoe looking new for as long as possible. Even on very creased shoes that I put these in, straightened it out and got the creases out which were still visible but definitely an improvement. And that was an old creased up shoe, I can only imagine how long they make brand new shoes last. The hard plastic has no give and keeps the shoe straight as can be. These are a blessing in a shoe!!
