Ridge Retro Mini Cruiser Board - UK Manufactured

I wanted a skateboard for my 11 year old son. I wanted one that was good enough quality to do some fun skateboarding - but given I wasn't sure how keen he'd be I didn't want to spend too much. This Ridge Skateboard is great quality and excellent value for money. It's robust enough to last for a reasonable amount of time. The wheels and bearing run smoothly and quietly. He seems to think it's pretty cool and friends with the large (expensive) wood boards have said they'd like to get one. It's good for getting about the park and using at a local skatepark - though it's not designed for doing tricks.

Great cruiser board which comes in different colours. I got the bright orange with blue wheels which is a great colour combination. Easy enough to get the hang of, with some practise. Well-built and feels solid when on the move. Small enough to carry easily.

Went on the board, can't complain, been ripping around campus for the latter part of my evening and had some friends have a go too. If you know how to stand on the board, then it's a great cheap little thing to nip about and have some fun on. It does flex in the middle, but then you aren't meant to stand with all of your weight in the middle of the board. Nothing broken yet, will update after about a month of use.

I refrained from writing a review so i could properly test the board's longevity. I ordered this board December last year, i've thoroughly used this board throughout days of radiant sunshine and days of abysmal rain. And it's excelled through both instances. From getting the board to shredding down some hills takes no time, prior to this board i was not skating inclined in any way, however this board has changed me. The learning curve on this board is incredibly fast, it's stable and forgiving and just a joy to use. If you're wondering how much the deck flexes, well it's a lot. Don't get me wrong it's a good thing and i like it, it acts as a little shock absorber. So sixth months down the line (with using the board every day) it is still functioning brilliantly, arguably better know because as you use the board the trucks will naturally loosen (this is a good thing) and now it turns so much sharper and easier. Brilliant and lasting quality, a must buy for someone who's looking for some major fun without breaking the bank.Have fun!

This is the best board that I have ever owned. It looks fantastic and cruising wise it rides very very well. This board is exactly the same as a Penny board in terms of specs, but only half the price. In my opinion the Ridge looks better than the Penny. Some friends of mine have bought other mini cruisers from Amazon, but these turned out to not even be close to my Ridge board in terms of performance. My advice is to definitely go for the Ridge cruiser if you want a very high quality mini cruiser that is going to last.

You can get a really nice carve going down a slight slope! (after making these adjustments)* Wheels were slightly too tight which was affecting the spin of the bearings.* Trucks were way too tight. I loosened the kingpin nuts by 3 full turns to get the board turning nicely. For a child they'd need to be loosened even more than that.* Installing some skateboard grip tape is easy using a coarse file and sharp knife.If you are brand new to skating or buying this for a child you could stick with the stock bearings. If you have some experience then I'd recommend upgrading the bearings as the stock ones are quite slow.

It’s a well built mini skateboard and our 5 year old daughter has quickly learnt to turn on it raising the front wheelsI can use it too though it feels marginal I’d definitely not buy this size one for general use for an 80kg adultIt’s v sold and feels like will last a long time

It is really nice to ride. The trucks are easy to adjust and the wheels do work on all surfaces that you would normally find. For the price it is great value and a penny board isn't better in any way that justifies the price difference to me.

ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, lo preso sopratutto per il mio cane, bouledogue francese che ne va pazzo ci va lo rosicchia poi lo riportanella salita e torna ad andarci, e sta durando tantissimo, per questo prezzo veramente ottimo, avevo preso tempo fa un altro costa di più ed è durato di meno!

Ho acquistato il prodotto con la dicitura “non disponibile”. Dopo pochi giorni Il prodotto è stato spedito. Venditore super. Davvero un bellissimo prodotto, sia nel design che per le caratteristiche tecniche. A mia figlia di 8 anni è piaciuto tantissimo. Lo uso anche io. Davvero consigliatissimo.

I purchased one whilst it was on sale and I gotta say it was a great buy. I'm 5'9 120 pounds and this board holds up just fine. Just loosen the trucks and wheels a little and you'll be good to go
