Philips SBCHL140 Headphone

If you want good quality for a reasonable price, have a look at this. Previous 'cheap' purchases were tinny but this is good sound. I am just about to buy another couple in case the model is discontinued.

Philips must have used cheaper parts in this model of headphone because the sound is so tinny. best to get the 145 model which is has far superior sound with good bass and treble.. a few pounds more but well worth it!

Great sound for the price and so comfortable and lightweight.

My wife's old, small, on-ear headset started sounding scratchy and the foam pads started to get ratty and uncomfortable. I bought her new pads but, since she can't abide earbuds, I also bought her these cabled Philips headphones. She loves them! Best sound she's ever heard she says as she watches her Netflix shows on her laptop. She says they are comfortable and light weight like the old Sonys she loved.

I am writing this review after using this headphone for more than a year. With this price range, you cannot expect Bose level sound quality but as a lightweight set, this does the job. It does not hurt your ears and sits comfortably on them. One word of caution is that if the volume is on the higher side, some of the sounds can be heard from the outside. Since I worked as a medical specialist who required this headphone on a day-to-day basis, I enjoyed the purpose it served. Recommended if you cannot afford anything of a higher price range and aren't a stickler for sound quality.

Ya tuve estos auriculares hace años y acabe muy contento con ellos por lo que me duraron fundamentalmente, aunque no los volví a encontrar hasta ahora.Son bastante cómodos de llevar, las almohadillas de las orejas no dan apenas calor (en verano no hay problema tampoco) y el sonido es claro (aunque obviamente no es como otros auriculares de mayor precio). Cumple realmente su función y da ese toque retro de los auriculares de diadema que mucha gente busca.
