World of Data CD lens cleaner for CD DVD Blu-Ray game console

My 12 years old Sony radio/cd player has lived in the kitchen but recently CDs started skipping but still played perfectly on a much newer model. Time for a new radio/cd player? One use of this cleaner and new life in the old radio and £60 odd saved! Simple to use and incredibly effective and it can be used more than once.

It works! I was a bit sceptical that it would work for my mac, as it was really not reading any CDs or DVDs before. It took three goes before it began to read the cd then I played the first track. I was supposed to then play the third track, my my mac wasn't having any of it. (I kept getting the wheel of doom) but after 10 minutes of trying, I thought it had at least read a cd unlike before so have tried it on a couple, and bingo....all is good! My next step would have been a visit to the mac store so Im so glad I gave this a go first ;)

I bought this for an elderly, non-technical neighbour, and she found it perfectly easy to understand and use: her DVD player was restored to full function immediately. Ideal - and it's exceptionally good value as well.

Ordered this as I needed to clean my iMac DVD drive, and whilst the disc does NOT say anything about compatability with Mac computers, I ordered to also keep if for my games Consoles, PC and other devices with CD/DVD trays.My Apple Mac did not even like and ejected it immediately.My PC with DVD and CD Drive, did absolutely nothing, and I subsequently tried this on 3 other PCs with no reaction and no response.As you can see from the attached photo for the front and back cover, it clearly states its compatible with1. CD-ROM - Insert CD, Choose Language and click clean2. DVD Blu-Ray Player - Insert CD, Play Track 1, and then Track 3.3. CD Audio Player - Insert CD, Play Track 1 and then Track 3.It is branded with the Compact Disc Logo, DVD Logo and also Blu-ray disc logo.Play the disc and follow the instructions, the process will complete when the music stops. When finished, stop the player and eject the cleaning disc, Return the disc to its protective case with brush facing down.Sadly, there was no menu on the PC, there was no music and nothing happened. After inserting the disc in my PC tray it whirred a few seconds, and nothing loaded, if I tried to explore or open the DVD/CD, it froze for ages finally when I got control back, nothing had happened.Save your money, this seems very hit and miss, and I have already claimed back a refund from Amazon for the item.

It does not work for what I bought it for as my PS4 doesn't recognise the disc but its fine for everyday dvd and blu-ray players

Had a ps3 that would not read discs anymore so brought this to try and fix it, worked perfect.

I bought this despite mixed reviews as I have been unable to find any reasonably priced Wii lens cleaners. Unfortunately it does not appear to be suitable for the Wii console. The description says it can be used for games consoles, but does not specify it will only work with certain ones. I contacted the seller for advice but did not receive a response. Might work great for CD and DVD players, but seems hit and miss with games consoles.

Spesso questi articoli vengono criticati aspramente, se ne sentono di tutti i colori. Detto questo però, nel mio caso ha risolto il problema di lettura del Sony UHP H1. Quindi non siate prevenuti e dategli una possibilità, stavo per gettare nella pattumiera 350 euro dl lettore ed invece ora funziona.

Hatte Probleme bluerays ab zu spielen. Hat geruckelt und teilweise garnicht mehr abgespielt. Einmal die CD drin und alles lief wieder.

Tengo que decir antes de nada que este producto tuve que devolverlo, pero no porque fuese de mala calidad, si no porque el problema de mi reproductor de Blu Ray no era que tuviese la lente sucia... simplemente de un día para otro dejo de leer discos Blu Ray y solo leía DVD, por lo que esto no me solucionó nada. Por otra parte este tipo de productos suelen ser muy simples, un disco óptico con una pequeña escobilla pegada que limpia la lente. En este sentido, este limpiador era más sofisticado que otros, pues tenía un menú desde donde ejecutar el programa de limpieza.Si el problema de tu reproductor es la lente sucia, este producto seguro que te ayuda

On oublie souvent qu'il faut nettoyer de temps en temps le tete laser de nos lecteurs CD/DVD, mais ceci est bon pour le travail!
