bought to clean my blue ray player seems to work ok only used it once

It says its for a laptop CD drive, the instructions say play track 1 and then track 3.When you put the disc into the CD tray on the laptop, you hear it spin and buzz, and if you use Windows Media Player like I do, in the column on the left hand side of your screen you will see listed "CLEANING DISC" - select that and you can then play track one and three.Both take about 40 seconds each and you can hear it cleaning.So far so good.

After reading some of the positive reviews on product page I've decided to give it a try in order to bring back to life my non-responsive Home Theater system. The home theater's DVD player have had difficulties in reading DVD's. Unfortunately, it did not work out for me at all. The DVD player remains unresponsive and it will not acknowledge that the cleaning disc is loaded. I used the cleaning disc on my older CD player and it seemed to improve things marginally.

Got this at a friend's request who's Xbox isn't working properly. Result : Patchy. Some games now work, others still don't. May be the Xbox of course but my guess is that it's done some of the cleaning but not all. But it's cheap - you get what you pay for.

Used it once. But did not work due to the fact it was not the lense it was the DVD drive it self that was broken. But will use if I've got a dirty lense.

Excellent works really well I clean my DVD player lense every month now and the picture is much better than when left before.
