Found the culprit, its the controller. Smells so strong seems to me, either its faulty or cheap items used to build it and it doesn't perform the charge properly or passed its charging test properly. Even then you can adjust the buttons to cater for your gaming needs with a bit of tinkering. In terms of quality its ok cheap and cheerful. Been using it for a while with no issues.
