Perfect Fit & Looks Good
I purchased this to fit my EP8 motor with Shimano E600 cranks. I had lost the plastic preload screw previously and paid $18 for a shop to put one back from their parts bin as I was going on a ride right then. After losing it for a second time, I looked online and found this Eigertec aluminum one that matched my bike's accent color. I loosened the pedals, installed this at 1.8 nm (really like 2 nm) with a drop of blue Loctite and re-torqued the pedal bolts to 14 nm. Looks good and I think works properly. Hopefully the drop of Loctite will prevent this one from falling out.

Better than Shimano OEM, time will tell
wanted to use my micro torque wrench to pre load my new Chris King bottom bracket, very hard to dowith shimano's flexible plastic part. The shimano uses an unusual interface, this fixing bolt uses a standard 10mm hex. Okay, so I preloaded to 1.6 NM, same position of rotation with three or four cycles of torque and release, then tighten the cinch bolt to 13 NM, spins nicely with no play. After 20 hours of riding I'll readjust.signed, Velocio btw, the color match was very close to Chris King mango

Almost perfect .
Fit and finish is superb , color too but unfortunately , it didn't fit my IFX cranckset ( 1 mm thicker ) so with a heavy heart , I had to return it .

Perfect add to crank
Fitment was perfect and the color is exactly what I was seeking. I suggest adding some locktite as I have seen it come loose but didn't fall out completely. Since adding locktite its stayed put

XTR crank keeper
Had problem with my left crank arm pulling from spindle on my SS MTB. This did the trick! Threads are longer on this crank bolt.

Requires 10mm allen, not common 8mm
Quality and color are good- BUT the 10mm allen size is so unnecessary. I erroneously thought it was 8mm allen since EVERY multitool has an 8mm but none have a 10mm. Fine for home/shop repairs but makes trailside removal nearly impossible.

Made my bike much faster, as it is red
I lost the plastic one that Shimano supplies (and that requires a special plastic tool to tighten). This one has the practical advantage of using a conventional hex wrench. Resist the temptation to over-torque.I should add that this fits my Shimano GRX crankset. Another one we ordered fits SLX 12-speed.
