As the new owner of an older Bridgeport clone milling machine, this book was recommended as a first purchase. Am I ever glad to have followed up on that advice! This book contains a myriad of descriptive photographs of assemblies, parts, and procedures. The print is in large font; oh so nice for these old eyes of mine. Applying the methods detailed in this book I was able to effect a repair of a faulty fine down-feed and feed-stop without having to purchase new parts. This book paid for itself the first day it arrived, and as it turns out, my new/old machine is a gem of a mill. Anyone looking to buy a used milling machine, especially a Bridgeport or BP-clone, should seriously consider purchasing this book beforehand.
