The Good - Caffeine Free Diet Cola: Sweet taste and mixes well.The Good - Diet Root Beer: Smooth root beer flavor. I discovered if I add Torani sugar free vanilla it add richness.The Bad: The design of the bottle encourages dripping when pouring. Also, the idea of a measuring cup within the lid sounded good on paper but does not work well in reality. Design makes a mess of the lid and coats the outside of the bottle mouth. There is a lip within in the bottle that also makes it prone to dripage. A spout or squirt bottle design would be far better.Overall - Caffeine Free Diet Cola: The price is fair considering that it is diet/caffeine free cola. As mentioned by others, it's not Diet Coke but still tasty. Closer to RC cola to me, but your taste may vary. I will order again.Overall - Diet Root Beer: Happy with it. No chemical aftertaste and reminds me of those old root barrel hard candies.

This flavor runs about $7 for a bottle that makes 9 liters of soda. That is 78 cents a liter. Locally 2 liter bottles of Caffeine Free Diet Coke sell for $2, or $1 per liter. But you have to pay for the c02 as well. Exchange cylinders cost about $15 for 60 liters. That is another 4 cents per liter. Now your price point is 82 cents/liter.This is still worthwhile for me, mostly because I don’t like paying for lots of plastic bottles that have to be recycled. But I don’t consider the price to be much of a bargain. I’ll be on the lookout for alternatives. I need both caffeine free and no sugar. This violates the basic law of soda: You can have sugar, caffeine, or both. Neither is the tough alternative to find.

A nice way to deal with traveling. It is hard to find caffeine-free diet cola. Especially on a cruise ship. I have a heart issue and must avoid caffeine. I mix this with sparkling water—problem solved. Note that if you need to take it on a cruise ship, you will need to get an accommodation approval under special needs.

It has a great taste. I mix it with lemon seltzer water and just 15 ML of the cola mix.

Update 7/6/20: Every time I get these - they are leaking. Hey SodaStream - can you use a better container/bottle that doesn't leak? These bottles suck. Every time at least one is leaking and today all 4 in the package were leaking. For me this means having to cut all the labels off and wipe each bottle down to get all the syrup off. Let alone the waste of syrup. Get with it and find a better designed bottle that doesn't leak.I was looking for an alternative so I did not have to lug home cases of diet coke and this fits the bill. Love it - will be ordering more.Just ordered the Diet Dr P. version and the Diet Root beer. I can say the Diet Dr. Tastes pretty good. Revising my rating from 5 to 4 stars due to every single package having at least one bottle that was leaking. It was a stick mess and took some time to clean up. I had to remove the outer plastic label as the syrup had gotten under it and was leaking from there but coming from the lid. I think the lid design could use some work.
