A cv boot joint had come loose and got bent on the drive shaft. Replaced with one of this set. Checked after 1000 miles and still exactly as fit. Great item set and good price too. You need special pliers to crimp them together tightly. Yes I know I could try other tools but that's often met with several failures before achieving a good result and that's just false economy. They are stainless steel and are quite sharply cut at the edges, they certainly don't have rolled/raised angle edges to prevent cutting into the rubber like several of the hose clips I have used in the past.
