This glove exceeded my expectations! The material feels durable and comfortable, and it was easy to break in after a few practices. Perfect size for kids and beginners learning baseball. The glove has a nice classic look and provides a great grip when catching the ball. My son absolutely loves it and has been using it every day. Got this for my 10U pitcher who is starting to throw with a lot more speed lately. Right out of the box, it took quite a bit of work to break in. There was a rough piece of leather right inside the middle finger slot that kept rubbing constantly, so a bandaid was pretty much required for the first few hours of practice to avoid a blister. Once I finally got it softened up and worked through that rough spot, it turned out to be totally worth the effort. It holds up really well to the faster throws now. Coming from using a standard fielding glove, it's definitely a game-changer and hard to go back. Just be prepared to put in some time and effort during the break-in phase.

The Rawlings Sandlot catcher's mitt in my opinion is the best value in baseball. This is the second one I have bought for my son. My son plays travel baseball pretty much year round. While A2000 or Rawlings Heart of the Hide are amazing gloves, the Sandlot glove offer a lot of quality and performance at a great price. With this mitt you get a glove that will be basically game ready directly after purchase and last several seasons with pretty heavy use. The more expensive gloves are really great, but the break in process and the overall stiffness make them pretty difficult for some kids to use. These are a great balance of performance and price. I couldn't recommend this mitt enough.

Bought this to catch for my son when he practices pitching. We got it broke in and it is perfect! No more bruised hands/fingers from my old glove!

Tremenda mascota. Hay que ablandarla como a todas. Muy bonita la decoración y amplia la cavidad. Vale la pena lo que cuesta para un catcher amateur de cualquier edad. Una buena compra.

Pretty mean for the price and does the job. For someone who didn’t catch, was worried if I bought the wrong size for adults fast pitch softball, but this work perfect. Took 2 days to work the leather and in 2 weeks was perfect after regular ball play and fast pitches. First week hard to move the glove with out regular breaking in etc. but after this mean as as dang does it mark a gunshot of a sound when catching it right. Also used this for baseball catches and was Good also. Mean buy teams
