Double Taper Masking Dispenser

Anyone thinking about buying this just do it don’t wait. Great product, the machine is built very with heavy duty plastic no cheap parts I feel this will last for year. I just wish I had found it sooner. Thank you to the inventor.

The double masker does work it’s just not particularly user friendly the instructions are not very helpful there is a bit of a learning curve the serrated cutters are not easy to use when tearing off the tape it also does say whether to use tape rolls of the same size or if you can use two different widths of tape I used to make dust barriers in a room I had to leave the sheeting up overnight part of it did fall down not exactly certain as to why it fell my fault the tape rolls being same width I will use it again and edit this review I would recommend this tool though

I was a little skeptical but hopeful that this masking gun would work well. It works great. The tape comes out straight and easy to cut off. It takes a few minutes to figure out the direction to insert the tape and it's a little awkward to hold but otherwise a very well thought out tool. Highly recommended.

As a painter for over 30 years, I'm used to the regular machines and this thing is Ok, not the easiest thing to use, maybe I just need more time with it, but then again, it will most likely just sit in the back of the garage collecting dust. Tried using it today to mask off allot of windows, just took allot of time, most of the time I just wound up taking a big piece of it and doing it by hand instead of letting the machine do it. Typically we would just use one roll of tape, leave half of it unstuck, then take our plastic and stuff it under the tape. When you tear off the tape with the blades, you always need to reach between the blades to pull it though so be carful you don't cut yourself.I know they say you can save vs buying the rolls of plastic for the regular machines, but you can do the same with just one roll of tape and leaving half of it free to stuff plastic under it later.Maybe I just need more time messing around with it, but if you need to do precise taping like windows on stucco, this might drive you more nuts than it's worth, if you need to just cover entry ways, or something similar it might be alright for that. If I know what I know now, I would have just passed on this. but who knows, it might come in handy sometime in the future.Just don't get caught up on all their videos as they make this thing look awesome when it's just ok.Pat

I love this tool, saves me time on masking up protecting occupied areas. I am a Drywall Finisher and I do a lot covering up, this tool keeps the dust away from objects around me, I love it. A must have!

Works well when I'm doing ceiling repairs, taping off doorways for spraying.

This changed my life at work, I refinish cabinets and do a lot of spraying, I am a one man operation and this saves me a lot of time and effort 👌 very good purchase.

I find the rollers need more resistance in order for the tape to be under tension and bond better. Or maybe it was just the type of tape I used??
