If you love Patchouli, you'll likely be happy with this deodorant. It is completely effective as a deodorant and has a strong patchouli smell. Many people compliment my "perfume" after a hug. It glides on easily, doesn't stain my clothing and lasts at least 24 hrs., even thru a couple of hours of exercise. Each tube is in stick form that lasts several months.

First off, this is a me problem. I knew someone who’s bought this and it smelled great, so I bought it and it just…well, it smells awful. I will say it is strong, it’s definitely real patchouli but it just isn’t great with my chemistry. It turned FOUL. There are different strengths of patchouli and the other one I smelled (a batch from a year ago) was not the same, it was lighter?? I should also add, my armpits do not sweat at all, so I actually don’t ever wear anything as far as deodorant or antiperspirant. Thing is, I thought this stuff smelled so divine I’d just slap it in there and enjoy it wafting around all day but something happened, and it happens every time I use natural deodorants…my pits that have no sweat glands get wet from the deodorant medium itself, be it glycerin or coconut oil, whatever brand I’ve used from Tom’s, to Native to Schmidt’s. Over and over I try because I just like to have a little fragrance that is just for me. And every time I end up developing BODY ODOR?!? It’s so weird, I’m in my forties and I’ve never had BO on my own, I’ve never had armpit sweat and I’ve only worn stuff under my pits a few times when I thought it’d be fun to try these fragrance options. Well, I think the stuff melts and causes wetness and then my dry pits become wet pits and something godawful happens. I thought I had something bizarre going on hormonally because this turned me super stinky! I was so SAD. But, I cannot say it enough, it’s not the deodorant’s fault, it’s my genes. So if you sweat…and you love a super strong patchouli scent give this a go. I put some on the inside of my robe and it mellowed out a bit and smells nice. I’ll add it has staying power too. And because I’m a doofus I’ll try it again, I want it to work so bad I’m in denial that it made me smell like a patch of dirt with onions in it. Yeah, it’s a super earthy patchouli scent, I don’t prefer that, I like it when it’s a little less dirt earthy, a bit lighter, but it does mellow. Like how aged patchouli smells so different than new patchouli. It’s kind of acrid at this point. Oh, and my friend who had the original that I smelled took a whiff of the sticks I got and said “wtf, mine don’t smell like that” but we both agree it’s patchouli. I smelled her sticks and it’s like…a different strength or age of patchouli?? Hers is very mellow, and hers came in a black tube. Same label though. If anyone knows why this could be I’d love to know! Also, I want to add I really liked the note, the sticker and magnet. Those personal touches are lovely and thoughtful!! I would never tell someone to NOT buy this, but I’d advise them to be aware of their chemistry. Updating much later: I saved them and I tried them again. They failed because of my body. But I’m going to add that the smell of the patchouly has changed. These have been sitting there for two years? And now they smell the way I wanted them to smell in the first place. They don’t work in my armpits, but I smeared a little bit of it here and there and it’s like perfume. I have decided to just use it as a solid patchouly fragrance perfume type deal. Works for me!

Think I posted a review for this on another product by mistake, so if there’s a combat roach gel review talking about great smell and non irritating, well take that with a grain.. this stuff is perfection, lasts all day and yes smells great! Don’t use a lot of it and it’s gonna work all day

love this deodorant! it actually works and smells so amazing. other non toxic deodorants don’t work well on me but this one does!!

I used to buy these all the time. The last time I got these I broke out in a rash. Not sure what happened or if ingredients changed, but I can no longer use them. They smell fantastic and I love the all natural. They also last forever and works great!
