Hasegower jaguar 1/72 plane kit
Sadly,the kit came in from u s a in an envelope ( no protection) and suffered crush damage, the fuselage is broken, twisted, beyond repair. The undamaged parts are of soft plastic, panel lines on the wings are not deep, so paint will hide these. Transfers are ok, but not up to today's standards. Kit will be used as a donor someday. Very disappointed.

Lovely plane - the Jaguar has always been one of my favourites and this model was far better than I could have anticipated. It fitted together snugly, and the decals, in particular, were outstanding - giving a standard that other kit manufacturers should aspire to. This has been my first Hasegawa - the kit itself was very good value - far cheaper than their more recent kits. The subdued panel lines took some getting used to - would have preferred them to have been a bit more exaggerated even if it strays nominally from how the plane is in real life. Overall highly recommended

Premium kit
Lovely, premium Japanese quality. Price has shot up since I bought it last month though. RAF / Armee d'Air versions, along with a demonstrator version. The RAF plane has the unusual wraparound camouflage (Why did they camouflage the underside of their planes?) Unusually for a Hasegawa kit, you get a generous supply of armament- apparently these are not accurate for the RAF version, if that worries you. There's a crew access ladder as well. Great kit, I think I will have to get another as I'm a sucker for French jets...

This is the second model I have bought from this brand. For the money they are equally as good as some 2 other well known brands. Just takes a while arriving.

Arrived quickly. Has to be the best 1/72 Jaguar kit out there. The parts fitted so well together my tamiya extra thin had trouble wicking into the joins!
