Amazing cutting power for the money
Performance was surprisingly good for the money. Cuts through 4" branch in seconds. Very easy to use but also found it to be very top heavy due to length.

Does the job for the right price.
Simple is best and that's what this saw is basic, functional, reasonably good quality easy to clean after use, standard size bar and chain for easy replacement and should last well if cleaned and oiled well after each use. Don't expect more than its capability but within reason that this budget it's a great little saw with a long reach.

Best product I ever bought for my garden.
The best amount of money I ever spent on a garden product.Easy to assemble and use for a novice.Powerful. Well done eSkde.Chain stays on nearly all the time. Only came off once in messy trees. Tightened it and hasn't come off since.I "desecrated" my front, back and side garden trees to my delight. I'll never have to cut them again, only trim a few light branches.Saved a €1,000 or €2,000 in hiring a tree cutting company. Did it over a few dry seasons though.

Great tool if you use it correctly
Having used manual pole saws for a while, thought it was time to try a power tool and am very pleased with this one. Some reviews complain about the weight which makes it difficult to handle if the pole is relatively horizontal. It works best if the pole is almost vertical in use with the cutting head in its tilted position. The cutting head can then rest on the branch to be cut and operator effort is then minimal - gravity does the work until the branch is cut.PPE is critical (forestry helmet with visor and ear protectors), gloves (preferably chainsaw type) and I'd suggest a heavy coat for if (when) things drop on you... so working at a cooler time of day may help.Given that it cuts so easily and quickly, it helps not to be too gready if you're going to be under branches that will fall on you!Don't forget to buy chainsaw oil as the small bottle that comes with the unit fills its tank once and will be used in a couple of hours use.

Absolute Rubbish.
You have to support the Frame strapped onto your shoulder. Hold down the Button by the Switch at the other End, by then you have lost Control of where you aimed the Blade. Then it wont cut because you can't hold the long lenth upright . If they had made the Lenth adjustable so it was easier to control . I.E Shorter. Then you may have Cut in the right place where started. In all my Day's as a Builder etc. This is the worst Tool I have come across. Total waste of Money.

A great machine
After looking at other machines more expensive and reading lots & lots of reviews I went for this one as it had a very long reach and lighter in weight. I used it for the first time last week on a tall bush/tree at the bottom of the garden it was fantastic so sharp cutting through quite thick wood quickly I didn't use extension so can't comment on that , the bush now looks great so pleased.I lent it to my neighbour to cut his high conifer hedges he was over the moon with it so much he is going to order his own, he has some scaffolding so he was able to use the extension with the help of his son guiding it he said it cut so well and made the job so much easier. Both of use are so impressed for the money.

Extremely heavy to use
Absolute bulk of a product!Great for the job I needed it for, but extremely heavy to use for more than five minutes at a time, even with the shoulder strap. Also very difficult to set up as instructions are not very clear and almost ended up returning as we could not get it to turn on!Once working though, it's a good machine, just the weight that is the issue.

Good value but not perfect
Build quality is average but expected that for the price. Assembly did take some thought as the chain cover is flimsy and doesnt fit nice so i thought i'd done something wrong. It did a good job of cutting thin branches. It is quite heavy when fully extended so 3min bursts enough for me and im fit strong. Overall good value at under 100.
