Review: good choice - read a couple of negative reviews about this mattress not staying inflated or bad out of the box and being flimsy. i will admit it's not as thick plastic as the last big one i had. and in the photo i thought that the holes looked like pockets kind of like cupholders like my old one. but the holes go right through the mattress. at first i was disappointed by that but after a day i changed my mind. the cupholder style hold little pools of water that get debris and bugs in them and you have to flip it or rinse them out. nothing collects in this style and water comes right up from the pool through the holes and keeps you cool and wet. and after 4 days it has lost no air which my old one deflated some overnite every time. i took a chance and got a good one right out of the box. pump it up the first day and check for leaks while the return window is still open and send it back if it does. if not you're all good. i like it a lot
