Perfect falafel maker - very easy to deflash if you're worried about sharp edges!
This is a really nice piece of kit. I made my first batch of falafel yesterday and was delighted with how easy the tool made sizing them evenly. Having all the falafel exactly the same size not only makes for a professional finish, but more importantly ensures that they cook in the same amount of time. I read a few reviews saying that this tool has sharp edges ("flashing" from the moulding process). It's true that mine was also shipped with a sharp line running around it, but 5 seconds with a steel scourer and the tool was perfectly smooth and deflashed. Build quality looks good; hopefully will stand the test of time!

unsure whether to use again
Used once, very good but put into dishwasher for thorough clean and black stuff came off it onto my hands when it was dry.Not sure whether to use it again.

Good little gadget.
Good sturdy little gadget. used it for the first time and it did the job well.Took way longer than i anticipated and the only reason i haven’t given it 5 stars.

Service ok but item of poor quality
The item arrived ok and fairly promptly but is of poor quality. It is not well moulded and there are rough metal bits sticking out along some of the edges and seams. I will not use it as I am worried some of the metal bits may break off and fall into the food.

Great, almost as good as the one that I had that was passed down to me by my grandmother but got damaged. :-( The falafels are just the right size and makes sure they are all the right size so they all cook at the same time perfectly. No Lebanese house can live without of these! Thank you!! :)

DO NOT BUY! LOTS OF METAL PARTICLES KEEP PEELING OFF. I cleaned it few times and the same problem. I dont really fancy eating metal in my falafel :) if you do then go ahead and buy it

Great device for falafels
Great easy to use product. I bought one for myself and one as a gift. The packaging doesn't explain what it is or how to use it which raised a few smiles when the recipient opened it. It makes nice slightly doughnut shaped falafels without the need to roll them out in your hands.
