The media could not be loaded. I was extremely skeptical when ordering as loads of comments are on about it not being magnetic. This is a normcore product which are supposed to be half decent so I thought I have to give it a go..At first I rolled my eyes as I thought all the comments were right as it did not stay attached to my basket when using my wdt after grinding! I investigated and magnets were indeed there, so I thought I'd try another basket and what do you know, super strong magnet.Please please check your baskets!! Cheap baskets will have lower quality stainless steel which is NOT magnetic such as 304/316.Stainless steel which IS magnetic is 410/420/440.This is an absolute fantastic product and makes life a lot easier for not making a mess and having no annoying gaps such as some other products that insert within the basket. Easy to use, perfect for on my 54mm Baskets and will be my go to from now on.Shout out to normcore for producing a brilliant product!

The fit and finish of this dossing funnel is excellent. The magnets are strong and hold the funnel to the portafilter well. The portafilter can be turned upside down and shaken somewhat without the funnel falling. I mention this because I’ve seen the other review that suggests the magnets do not work, I would suggest that somehow they had faulty/demagnetised magnets as I think the level of magnetisation here is spot on.I like that this funnel does don’t interfere or touch the coffee grounds in the basket, I have seen some other that leave a ridge around the circumference of the filter basket.My only issue is the price, I do think it’s slightly excessive. However, it’s a nicely designed product that functions as expected.

This is a good dosing funnel and fits great with no inner lip to contend with. There's no escaping how poor/weak the magnets are though, turn it upside down and give it a little shake and it's going to fall off. Feels like Normcore cheaped out a bit on an important feature.

Bought to contain overspill coffee from grinder, but unfortunately does not fit my barista express on top of my porta filter.

Good items, fits well and does it's job. Magnet is a bit weak, but it holds up enough.

I bought it without realizing it would be useless for the Sage machine we have. It doesnt fit under the grinder when attached so is redundant for our Sage Barrista Express.I was disappointed as I have other Normcore products and love them. Mostly my fault for not things through actually using it.

Granted it fits on the portafilter but... you cant grind the coffee with it attached only afterwards which defeats the point in my opinion. I returned it for this reason as it doesnt solve the issue of a double shot grind being too much to hold in the portafilter in one go before you tamp it.

Its a tidy looking bit of kit, looks the part as do most of Nomcores stuff. The magnets are useless though and not worth it. Ive tried it on a few baskets and it wont stick.Poor!

I'm using this with the stock portafilter for the Bambino Plus and the fit is perfect.The magnets hold strongly, but it's still easy to remove.It's made my puck prep cleaner, easier, and more consistent.
