These drapery arms are a great idea in theory, feel solid and look very good. Delivery was on time. In practice, the connections at the hinge end are loose and therefore when fitted to the wall or window frame the arm flops down. In order to make the arm sit level, we had to make a wedge to sit under the screws which was fine when the curtains are closed, but when open the arm hangs on a wonk and looks very odd. My husband is an experienced property developer and we tried various ways to get these arms to hang correctly, without success which is a shame. We gave up and put up a pretty white slatted wooden blind from Dunelm instead and it looks fab.

Purchased to display a single curtain panel. It’s ok if the panel is narrow and not heavy. When the pole is extended it is a little flimsyMeasurements accurate but did not feel good value for money

I hadn't realised the drapery arms were sold as singles, not as pairs which made them twice as expensive as I had anticipated.I purchased 3 initially for 3 dormer windows in a restored cottage so I was left requiring more, unfortunately the next drapery arm which came was slightly different so i have an unmatched pair. I t was not possible to see that the next ones were not the same product as my initial purchase. I am hoping that no one else notices. The hinged drapery arm is ideal for dormer windows but a bit pricey! As they are sold for windows not just for doors it should be made clear that the price is not for a pair. I was also disappointed that the urgent 2 day delivery took 5 days when I had paid extra for an express service, and I was left with curtainless windows when my guests arrived to stay.

This is the second one of these I have ordered, they are ideal for door curtains. Not suitable for very heavy curtains, the ones with the supported centre would be better for those. My curtain is relatively lightweight, although still thermal, and these are perfect as open with the door. Good price, fast delivery, great customer service, good company to deal with, would definately recommend these.

Love them. I have one on back and front doors. It’s so easy to open the doors as opposed to pulling the curtain along to open the doors which did before. Very happy and worth the money.

I know it is for very lightweight fabric but still a bit flimsy, especially if you want to extend it to its maximum. Will do the job for me as I am hanging voile from it but it could be better.

Well, the product looks very nice and seems sturdy and arrived quickly..but i must have ordered the wrong size, as it only reaches halfway across the door for which it was intended.! I have been too busy to return it....
