I purchased this for my 20 month granddaughter as she loves horses. Cute book!

With all the many books in her collection, my 18 month old frequently seeks this specific book and enjoys flipping through the pages. I purchased a few months ago and it’s still in her top 5. It’s the highest compliment to a book that can hold a child’s attention to red for longer than the first two pages. The artwork is unique style and visually arresting- each almost like something you’d hang on your wall. As an adult, I don’t find the narrative inspiring to read aloud because I have a strong preference for rhyming children’s books but when my daughter loves a book this much, it’s easy to move past.

Was a birthday request for my 4 year old granddaughter who saw it at the library .As time goes on will be the test if she continues reading as a favorite or it becomes her sisters favorite ♡ As an adult reviewing, it is an intriguing story & easy to follow. A fun, creative- thinking - use your imagination book- the wonder of childhood. I would purchase again as a gift .

When my grand daughter opened this gift on Christmas she stopped to open book.,look at each page and said,"I want to read this book before bed tonight" ! She loved it!!
