Ignore the video they posted, the woman isn’t doing it right. Use both pieces together at the same time and make sure they both smoosh down good. The video showed you cutting it first and then sealing it but that doesn’t work for me, doesn’t seal right. Use both nested together and don’t overfill the sandwich for best results (or, depending on the bread you use, a hole may open up in the center somewhere and pbj come out.

This is a great quality set, but it is meant for regular bread (think Nature’s Own, Dave’s Killer Bread 21 whole grains - not the thin sliced varieties, etc.). The cutters and sealers are adorable but this size is much too large for gluten free bread. I returned it and ordered a set of 4 cutters and sealers that were medium sized and those worked perfectly for our GF household.
