Good safety glasses
I buy these for my husband. His work requires safety glasses and he likes that the are bifocal so he doesn’t have to change glasses to read. They hold up well to oilfield work. I have bought him several pair and he wears them everywhere, not just at work.

Are you kidding me??
I've spent hundreds of dollars on bifocal sunglass readers over the years. From the 10.00 cheapies to the 30.00 + Tool Freaks (plastic frame breaks easily) so let me share my experience with you. Most of the time I choose a sport frame, rimless or half rim (see Oakley prizm). Usually one of two things will break. The corner of the lens where it fits into the frame or the frame itself. I'm a golfer and a commercial truck driver. I have to wear readers or I can't see detail up close. By up close I mean within arms reach. You middle aged folks know about the forty stretch and the fifties squint and stretch, we need readers and eventually discover bifocal readers. So, recently I ordered these cheap sunglasses because my last pair, tool freak that looked nice but cheap plastic frame broke within a month, broke. Just like the rest of the 10 to 15 dollar cheapies. So I gave these a try. I wear ball caps a lot, I'm an outdoors guy, golfing, hiking, yard work. I'm forever taking off my glasses and setting them on my hat on my head, over the brim. This stresses the frames and usually after just a few weeks, they break. Alas, I've been cheap about this. Probably some sort of denial about my age or predicament with REALLY needing readers. My Epiphany happened this week. My Oakley Prizms were on my hat, I sneezed while walking through the parking lot at my club and they flew off my hat and hit the pavement square on the bridge of the frame with such force that both lenses popped out. Seeing this I immediately assumed the worst, broken frame, scratched lenses, complete anguish over such a high dollar pair of shades. But much to my amazement both lenses were without damage. The frame was fine, perfectly intact. What wizardry was this? With a little effort and some fear of doing damage I managed to get both lenses back in the frames and everything was back to normal. Wth?? The frames are made of a rubbery type substance. I hadn't really noticed that before. Polycarbonate lenses didn't scratch either. So why am I telling you this? Because sometimes you really do get what you pay for and guess what? These inexpensive bifocal readers have a rubbery type frame. I've worn them all week, on my hat when not needed, but literally all week and not once did I hear that familiar sound of me stressing plastic frames (OK, so I'm not gentle). These glasses are a steal at this price. And the nose pieces are adjustable, not part of the frame like most in this style. I primarily use them when driving and can easily see the gauges in my instrument cluster and down the road. I'm so impressed I just ordered another pair. At this price point they are an unbelievable bargain. Seriously, I've moved from Dewalt to ToolFreak and now these. I will update if I find something noteworthy but at this point, I got nothin' to complain about. They fit my melon and do what I need. So for less than 15.00, stop complaining and get you a pair. Otherwise, you can pay 180.00 for a set of Rayban readers and they will even send you the original lenses along with your readers in a RB frame. But knowing me, I better stick with the cheapies for work and everyday wear. Save the RB's for stylin😉

Very nice for bi-focal users
I use the 1.5x version and work well. The bi-focal line is just right for driving. Dashboard is sharper. Using cell phone map apps is easier.

Now I can see my bike computer
I got these for riding my bike. I can't even see my bike computer without glasses -I can't wear reading glasses when I ride, because then I won't be able to see the road.I was about to go to an eye doctor to get sunglasses with bi-focals, but I decided to see if there was anything in amazon - and sure enough - I found quite a few.I've used these on a few bike rides now and I couldn't be happier. I can now see my bike computer - to a point that I take them for granted now. It's awesome.- I've seen better quality sunglasses, these aren't super high-end quality, but I've bought cheaper sunglasses at CVS that cost me more. These aren't as bad as those sunglasses that you get on the spinning carousel at CVS or Target.Plus, for this price - the quality is awesome.I like that the bifocal / reading lense is on the inside of the lense - so nobody can tell that you're wearing bifocals because you can't see the line from the second lense unless you're wearing them.I'm going to buy more of these so I can see things when I'm driving, and now I can read my phone when I'm walking without having to take my sunglasses off to put my reading glasses on.I love these.Only gave these 4 stars because they're not high-end. But keep in mind that these are not the super cheap ones that feel like they'll fall apart. I think these will last me a while.
