Mu-so 2nd Generation is the successor to the multiple award-winning Mu-so wireless music system, re-engineered for class-leading performance, functionality and usability by our experts here in Salisbury, England. Combining our 45 years of hi-fi mastery with the very latest music-streaming technology and premium design quality, this is the ultimate single-box system you and your music deserve. At the heart of Mu-so 2nd Generation is Naim’s music-streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over 3 years to offer the very best performance whether playing your own digital music collection, a world of Internet radio, or music streaming services such as TIDAL and Spotify. The all-new multicore DSP drives higher performance, providing 2000 MIPS (Million Instructions Per Second) compared to the original Mu-so’s single-core, 150MIPS DSP. You can also hear even more from your music. We have also created a brand new limiter algorithm that keeps each of Mu-so 2nd Generation’s speaker drivers’ movement under control when at high volume levels. Mu-so 2nd Generation’s 450 Watts of music power are joined by improved and highly optimised speaker drivers – a joint development project between Naim and Focal R&D departments. Our new intuitive interface has 15 touch sensitive buttons and a bold, illuminated volume dial with a proximity sensor that wakes the display. Premium aluminium casing, in a new burnished grey finish. It may look similar outside, but inside the majority of components have been upgraded to improve performance. The cabinet design has been re-engineered to create 13% more internal volume, enabling bigger, better bass. Both the cabinet bracing and baffle moulding have been redesigned for improved rigidity, which suppresses and controls vibrations. The distinctive heat-sink fins are now more compact, while still being ultra-effective, and continuing to feature Naim patented technology that discreetly incorporates the wi-fi antenna.

Sound quality: Impressive overall. Very detailed. Good bass response for such a small package. Primary limitation is poor stereo separation inherent with an all-in-one design. Build quality: Highly impressive. Everything about the device feels high quality from the thick slab of lucite it sits on to the aluminum it is wrapped in. Wouldn't change a thing. If you need an all-in-one type device because of space or aesthetic constraints in your living room, you'd be hard pressed to do better than this. If you can accommodate a proper stereo hifi setup, you can probably do a bit better in the sound quality department.

**Q: Is it build in wi fi? Can I link it with a Tv?**
A: yes and yes.  there are a number of good reviews out there that explain everything, just google it.

**Q: Can the Naim Muso 2 purchased in the US be used in Korea where the voltage is 220V?**
A: Thanks for your question. Naim products sold in the USA operate on 110V-120VAC only.

**Q: Is it stereo or mono? Does it do any type of surround sound?**
A: It is stereo , but not surround sound.

**Q: Is it possible to connect a sub to this? I like the idea of using this as a sound bar, not needing surround, but I sub would be nice**
A: As far as I can tell, you can’t connect a sub or other external speakers. However, for its size the Mu-so puts out a lot of bass. I have a small living room and definitely don’t need a sub with the Mu-so.

Very detailed. Good bass response for such a small package. Primary limitation is poor stereo separation inherent with an all-in-one design. Build quality: Highly impressive. Everything about the device feels high quality from the thick slab of lucite it sits on to the aluminum it is wrapped in. Wouldn't change a thing. If you need an all-in-one type device because of space or aesthetic constraints in your living room, you'd be hard pressed to do better than this. If you can accommodate a proper stereo hifi setup, you can probably do a bit better in the sound quality department.

I ordered Muso 2. It was delivered earlier than expected. It didn't take long to set it up with Naim app. Spotify app recognizes Muso 2, so no work required to connect. My husband and I both love the sound.
