It says on the package All Natural-I would presume non-gmo, very low-tech appearance. Frankly, they have been gone from our area so long I was just thrilled to find them, would post a pic but this doesn’t see to accomadate.

Q: How to cook them (soak? hours?) ?

There are quite a few good recipes posted on websites and blogs. In general, I have found that soaking isn't a must and they cook much faster than pinto beans, in the 2 to 2.5 hour range. They cook faster than black or pinto beans in the instant pot. They have a much creamier texture than other beans.
