This chair is both stable and cute. I needed a shower chair do to medical, that had a back. This one has proved to be stable, visually appealing and over all pleased with my purchase. I'm pretty small, 5'2 116 lbs, but there is plenty of extra room on the seat so I feel that it can accommodate a decent amount of sizes, but certainly not all. It was easy to assemble and has been in our shower for some months now with no signs of wear.

I have a health condition that gets me short of breath quickly, so showers aren't as pleasant or as long as I'd like anymore. I didn't want to get a chair like my Grandma had because, well, it would make me feel quite old. So when I saw this, I knew it would be perfect. It's very stylish, matches my black accents in my bathroom, and can be used elsewhere too, like on the deck without looking out of place. It was not too expensive, imo, particularly when compared to the other similar chairs. I really like it.

If I had the choice of 0 stars, that's what I would have rated this product. I don't know if it is just this one shower bench but it was made wrong. The legs were a full ⅛ to 3/16 inch wider than the space it was meant to go into. My husband, an accomplished woodworker, decided to trim the legs to make them fit; however, even making them fit into the space, the legs on one side could not seat themselves far enough down to have the bolt holes line up whether he'd trimmed them or not. Also, the bolts meant for these holes are so long that, when they are screwed in as far as they will go, they are a full 1 ¼ inches too long. I doubt we can get our money back since we've altered the product, but I'm going to try. So, to save yourself some misery, DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. It isn't worth the hassle.

I haven't used it much yet but while I was putting it together I noticed the manufacturer didn't align the bench top when they screwed into it, causing these two screws to chew up the wood here. This will likely cause mold or rot in the future since the waterproof finish was ruined there.The finish also seems a little flaky, I dropped one of the pieces on another while putting it together and it chipped the walnut finish right off, I'm not sure if that would cause any issues in terms of water proofing later on but it's worth noting.It felt pretty sturdy while I was sitting on it but I'm not sure how well it'll hold up to daily use, especially with the issue I mentioned above.Besides that, it wasn't very hard to put together and if it manages to hold up I'd say it's worth the price.

I figured I'd make my life less of a headache by buying a shower chair that didn't fill up with water every time it was used. Then when removing the chair from the shower, it would leak all over the place. This chair, no chance of that happening! It is smaller than my cheap plastic one, but only by depth. The width is the same and it looks nice. Definitely recommend and it's not as heavy as the old plastic one that fills with water every time I shower!

Easy put together and works great, longevity will have to see

Assembly was quick. Manufactures should include nailing the shelf in. After first use my bottom shelve came out. Not to mention I didn't receive the two metal hooks as I should, which was my first red flag. After tightening the legs, bottom shelf fell out again after one use. Soap dish is sturdy. Backing is sturdy. Legs continue to need tightening. Its only been a week. I can sit in this chair but I'll end up throwing it out to prevent a fall.

Really a nice shower seat that was easy to assemble and appears to be quite durable. It is really most suitable for an oversized or double shower (think of putting something the size a small child-sized lawn chair in a standard shower). It fit great in our double door shower but please think of the size of the space you want to put it in.It only took about 30 minutes to fully assemble and place in the shower. Due to the light weight I was initially concerned that might not be sturdy enough but it does an excellent job. It fits a full sized adult and provides storage for shower supplies.It may not be appropriate for unsupervised juveniles since they may attempt to stand on the seat and could potentially fall off. For an ensuite shower or for adults it is quite an good job and really is an excellent value.
