The Bliss lights are the best type out there. We have had them for years. Older models and newest. Have 10 total. No issues. Quiet, able to turn on and off with app. We run them sometimes round the clock for days in the house and rv. Love em! They are addictive. Once you have them on, hard not to have them on.

I've tried a couple of these galaxy/nebula projectors and the Velarus is my favorite. The pattern is reminiscent of ripples on water and is very unique. I also like the rainbow of colors it is able to produce. I don't like the fake laser stars a lot of these projectors include so I'm happy this one doesn't have that feature.A brief summary of the projectors I've tried:BlissLights Velarus (this item) - Adjustable angle, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: Overly expensive, large, bulky & loud; I didn't keep this one

The media could not be loaded. First, I want to say that I love many of Bliss's products. However, I have some reservations about the BlissLights Velarus - LED Aurora Projector. I really enjoy the colors it projects, but it doesn’t cover the full surface of my wall, and it’s not as bright as it appears in the advertisement.Overall, I enjoy using my Bliss lights to set the mood. One of the reasons I appreciate this company is that their bulbs last a long time; I’ve had mine for several years now, and it’s still going strong.Would I buy from them again? Yes, definitely, due to their durability and quality. I just wish this particular product was a bit brighter in my living room, although it does appear darker in my bedroom, which I appreciate.Overall, I give it five stars for the great product quality and four stars for the brightness not meeting my expectations in certain areas of my home.

I have been hearing about these Blisslights for a while now so I finally decided to give in and try one out. Let me tell you, I wish I would've gotten one a lot sooner these things are amazing! Upon opening it for the first time you can immediately see how high the quality is, unlike some of the other ones you see out there. The light takes up almost the entire ceiling in my living room and has a really nice pattern with smooth movement. The colors from the bulb are crisp and vibrant with endless options through the app. The light sits in a concave stand that lets you point it in any direction you want to with minimal effort. I am the first to be wary of apps I don't know, but after months of use there has been zero reasons to have issues with trusting them. All in all, I have been completely impressed with this light and fully recommend it to anyone out there looking for a nice relaxing addition to their house!!!

I opened the box, plugged it in, and it emits a kaleidoscope of all different colors. To get the settings I want, and change the colors, I have to use the app and connect the device to my wireless internet. Unfortunately, it will not connect to a simple wireless internet connection. There are instructions on the app to change the wireless router settings to allow it to connect, yet the instructions are totally useless and don't even make any sense. BUYER BEWARE, if you don't want to be stuck in App Hell, avoid this product. The app has 1.8 out of 5 stars on the Google Play Store. That's because it is garbage. Maybe if I could ever use the app I would know that for myself. But since my Bliss Light won't even connect to my very-easy-to-connect-to and very strong and powerful wi-fi signal, what's the point of even having the app?

I have tried changing the speed of the motor and the lighting configuration. No matter what I do this cool lightshow now comes with a Tinnitus simulation that can be heard at any point in my room. The motor is not meant to run more than a few hours a day it seems as I had this on for almost 8 hours everyday for just a few months

Yes!This projector is a great new entry to the Blisslights lineup. The lens is big and covers a lot more surface projection area, and looks amazing by itself or layered with another projector like the Evolve with a unique light pattern of wispy, ribbony auroras in multiple colors. App control is as easy as ever and if you already own a Blisslights Evolve it uses the same app so you can control all your lights without skipping a beat with all the customization features. It also adds a color I was sorely missing from the Evolve line, green, so it complements Evolve well if you want a more rainbow/multicolor look.I don't know if it's typical of all lights of this model but the one I got makes a very faint buzzing noise. MyEvolve is feather quiet, but my Velarus makes a small noise. It's easy to ignore especially if you put music on but I thought I would mention it to anyone with any noise sensitivities to be aware of. Overall I think this light is great and feels solidly made at a reasonable price point, if you want an aurora effect in your home with customizable colors/speeds/etc you can't go wrong with this one! I use my lights every day.
