Bully Stick Holder - Medium Size - Interactive Dog Toy and Dog Safety Device

This works very well at holding thin bully sticks/pizzles. The grip is solid and feels firm enough and I believe it will last a long time with my stronger chewer. So far my dog hasn’t pulled the chew out and loves it so I feel it has improved safety as dog can’t now swallow the small end of the chew. Won’t fit the wider chew sticks, so I also need to buy a bigger one.

This is good but can only be used for 1 kind of treat. I tried with some others and did not fit. Dog also manages to get the treat out of this half the time which results in me having to take it away. Hence the 3 stars as it only works half the time lol.

My doberman managed to pull out the pizzle within minutes. Does not work

I bought a pack of 12-15 cm standard thickness bully sticks for my small dog. Wanted to be safe and buy the bully grip. Most of the bully sticks did not fit, I followed the instructions and even watched the YouTube video, they should have fit because I measure them individually and they were all between 5/8" and 7/8". The 2 that did fit were easily pulled out by my little dog the grip was horrible. Would not recommend. Wasted money. Bought the bow wow lab's will see how that works. Another example of cheaper is NOT better

Stick kept coming out, doesn’t feel safe

I spent like 2 weeks looking up every possible chew stick holder. This is the one I thought would be best but was hesitant to buy because of the price, and also worried that it wouldn't be the right size fit for my dogs bully sticks (had to order online, could not find in store to check it out first).I bit the bullet and ordered it and am so so happy with my purchase. It works really well!!! We use the bully bunches brand of 6 inch standard size bully sticks. I buy them at walmart so I'm able to look in the bag and buy a pack that doesn't have any sticks that are too thin/thick, as they do vary in size slightly.I love that it is a thick, hard rubber material. I was turned off by all other options as they were a hard plastic/nylon material and in reviews you could see how easily they got chewed up. The bully grip is so well made and the material will definitely stand up to my chewing pup. Also like that you can put spreads or other treats inside, or even just throw it to play fetch!I will be ordering the large size as well to try with the yak chews.

I got this to ensure that my dog can enjoy his bully sticks without swallowing and possibly choking on that last little bit of them, and it does work great for that. What I've found is that he actually prefers to chew bully sticks using this. I think he enjoys that it makes it easier for him to hold the stick. I bought this in 2 different sizes, the medium and the large, so as to accommodate various sizes of bully sticks. Great product, really sturdy, easy to clean. The important thing to remember using these is to wet it with water anytime you're either inserting or removing a bully stick or else you won't be able to get the bully stick in/out. When inserting the bully stick, also make sure to give it a few minutes to dry before giving it to the dog so that the bully stick won't inadvertantly come out.

The media could not be loaded. I wrote this same review for the smaller size (we have both the small and medium sizes), but it applies to both so I'm posting it here as well. We recently got a new puppy who loves to chew on everything (the table, my shoes, our other dogs, etc.). Once we discovered bully sticks, we thought we were home free, but then I started reading about all these horror stories where dogs swallow the last few inches of the bully stick. Sure enough, a few days later, I see one of my other dogs coughing while frantically making chewing motions. I ran over and luckily managed to fish out the last bit of bully just before it went down his throat. If this could happen to my older dog with 13 years of chewing experience, I knew it was just a matter of time before the puppy did the same thing.I started researching safety holders and we actually bought another brand initially (which was twice as expensive). It looked like a corncob pipe and was really heavy. The dogs could no longer carry the bully sticks around in their mouths and they just kind of lost interest in them. Plus, the other safety device had plastic spikes to hold the stick in place which literally broke off after the first use. I just knew there had to be something else out there, so I kept searching and then found BullyGrips.These are the greatest invention ever! First of all, they look cool, like roller skate or skateboard wheels, and come in fun colors. But the best part is that they are sturdy and grip the stick like nobody's business when used according to the directions. (You have to twist the stick, people. Pay attention to the directions!) There are no parts that break off, and the shape is fun for the dogs. Plus, they're light enough that the dogs can carry them around in their mouth.If you give your dog any kind of chew stick, I cannot recommend these enough. We have three BullyGrips at the moment (one small and two medium) but we have 4 dogs, so we'll probably get one more. These are half the price of the competition and work so much better. We'll never use anything else again.

Finally some peace of mind for us while my lab enjoys her bully stick. Our really thick jumbo sized bully sticks didn’t fit into it but they sent us one w a slightly softer center and it works great. We’d tried another brand but it was too long and awkward, and she chewed through the rubber. THIS one has super tough rubber. LOVE that this is small and doesn’t interfere much w her chew session.
