I wanted a simple but effective timer for my garden watering system. This unit fits the bill perfectly. It was extremely easy to insert two AAA batteries, set the clock, start time, watering duration and frequency - all took no more than a couple of minutes. It was equally easy to fit the timer to my external tap and to connect the hose. My complete automatic watering system using a long length of soaker (drip) hose was up and running perfectly within five mins of opening the box!The unit offers a simple watering manual option - simply press and hold the OK button. It defaults to 10mins, but this can easily be increased. At the end of your chosen period, the unit switches manual watering off and any pre-programmed times are automatically restored. There is a manual rain delay button that cancels automatic watering for 1-2 days as well - but there is no rain sensor as there is in some of the manufacturers other (more expensive) models. The two AAA alkaline batteries that I put in it are supposed to last for a year - but only time will tell if they last that long.You can spend more to buy a double hose connector, button control (no rotating wheel) and even a WiFi connected version that you can control from your phone - but I like to stick to simple controls as there is less to go wrong.

Great bit of kit, takes the hassle out of watering the garden, easy to install & set watering programs, set for ten minutes daily but has an option to turn on for a set time in a couple of taps on my phone app from 1 minute to an hour if you want to water a little more in hotter weather which is useful! Very pleased & would recommend to anyone 👍

Works well athough i needed an extra washer on the input to stop the tap leaking. Once fitted it was great and hopefully should save worry when holidaying.

At last a watering system that is easy to set and simple to use. The big LCD lettering makes the system easy to use in low light. The large control dial means the system can be turned on and off in a second.Having tried many other systems over the years this is the only one worthy of 5 stars.

This timer must be the easiest timer to use, I have used others in the past and this is simply the best.

Easily to set up, but manual override not easy and bleeding out the air in the unit a problem, instructions poor.

Water is precious and increasingly so now with a bit of a climate thing going on.So, this is the second water controller we have from this company; they both work perfectly. The dial on this one makes for really easy control of the watering; battery operated it just does its thing. Best bit for us is the colour which fits in the garden perfectly.... and is NOT yellow, like some others.
