It was a Christmas gift for my hubby. He LOVES this bag. His only complaint involved the app. Outside of this, is perfect!

This LED backpack is made of high quality materials with precision manufacturing technique. The pack is assembled cleanly and all the seams are straight and tight, and the zippers work smoothly. There is ample space inside, and the LED light panel on the back portion doesn't really take up any space on the inside of the pack, as the light panel is somewhat flexible is is quite thin. There is a batter connection on the inside, with a USB-A cable for you to plug into a power brick or battery. There are also convenient pockets to store the battery and an extra. Pairing with a phone is easy enough, though you must use the manufacturers app. It doesn't ask for too many permissions, so I trust that the app isn't taking over my phone. It asked me for photo gallery access , internet, and Bluetooth. Could it be sending my photos to China? While possible, I didn't notice the phone heating up, as it would do if someone was trying to download much data from my device, and I didn't notice my network usage go up either. That doesn't mean I won't keep my eye on it, and you should too! That's how you can tell if some app goes rogue on you . . . it starts using your phone and internet connection, which makes your phone hot, for seemingly no reason, and your bandwidth usage goes through the roof. This app didn't do any of that. What it did do, was let you pick from a variety of preset images, or upload your own and tweak it. I'm going to use this backpack to draw attention to a trade show booth, by putting it on a staff member, who will walk around the show, displaying our logo and booth number. I can think of dozens of uses for this nice little pack, and I'm sure you can too! Price is a little high, but you're getting high quality and those LED lights should last a really long time. Nothing bad to say about this Five Star LED Smart Backpack.

Okay so with this back pack you just download the app and pair your phone to the backpack through Bluetooth on the app. It paired easily and had no connection issues at all. This is so freaking awesome! On the app you can choose an animation from the extensive list of loved characters and cartoons, you can have text of any color, font, orientation and size. You can also change the way it displays across the backpack. They have a graffiti mode where you can draw whatever you would like it to display, and you can have more than one of those choices playing and they will cycle through until all have played and then they cycle through again. Soo much fun! I'm sure I haven't even played around with all the settings yet after all that! The app is very straight forward and easy to use, and the backpack itself is really nice, thick padded straps, lots of room inside and good zippers that open and close with no issues. The only caveat is that you have to have a power source. This is not a rechargeable item. The usb cord is inside the bag and you have to use a battery pack or something to keep it going. All around awesome product, probably one of my most favorite Amizon finds and I highly recommend it!

Everyone who sees this backpack says, “Wow!” It really is a cool concept that not a lot of people have seen on the street. I like that you can customize what is displayed, but the app is a bit clunky and sometimes it takes a few tries to get this connected. The lights are kind of far apart, which makes more detailed images difficult to see, so you are limited in what you can clearly display. The backpack itself is a nice quality and is easy to carry. I like that it comes with a cover for when it rains. This does use a power bank, so you are limited on how long it can stay on. The power bank also adds to the overall weight of this backpack. For bikers this can really add some much needed visibility at night.
