Spice Enthusiast Tamari Soy Sauce Powder - 4 oz

I love this product for using in situations where you don’t want to add liquid to the item you’re working with. And the fact that it’s gluten free is great-I’m a chef and these days I only use tamari since there always seems to be a gluten free person in a group. It does clump easily so I’d recommend adding a silica pack to the container to absorb moisture.

Really expensive, but great for mixing dry sauce for storage

I use soy sauce in a lot of my cooking. I recently tried Spice Enthusiast Tamari Soy Sauce Powder, and I was really impressed. The powder has a strong, umami flavor. I've used it in a variety of dishes, including stir-fries, marinades, and dipping sauces. For dipping sauce, I just mix the powder with some water or rice vinegar and use for dumplings, spring rolls, or vegetables. Very versatile, and flavor can be more intense than traditional sauce.

This was my first time trying soy sauce powder so this review is limited in that regard (nothing to compare it to). I have much experience with liquid soy sauce and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to make my own with this powder. I especially love that I can customize the intensity. This is also very handy to add to dry rubs! The powder form makes it easy to travel with as well. I'd recommend giving it a try 😊
