Much prefer this for weathering, rather than using oil paints and them mineral spirits. Cleaner and quicker, but still a great effect.

Tamiya's weathering master sets work really well, but is a lot darker than the Tamiya photos show, Best to see if there are untouched photos on the net of the products for a better colour comparison.

In this instance this product was purchased for a specific purpose; creating the effect of heat colouring on a models exhaust piping etc. It did this spendidly (and in a more skilful users hands, could do it even better), and obviously there is a huge amount left for similar use in the future. A point deducted for the application tool that comes with the kit, the sponge end of it is very effecient but lasted only minutes, coming off very soon and while still being used. Obviously other brushes etc in the modellers arsenal can be brought into use. A genuinely useful modellers weathering tool.

Small but then you don’t need a lot, my exhausts on my models look great

Have yet to use it, should be good as it comes from a good kit maker.

have looked for somthing like this fof a long time ,will be just the thing for my hobby ,on time does what it said on the tin . well pakeaged ,arived on time ,unusual for our post . will be buying again .
