Great book, always wanter to learn about Python
I've grabbed this book after hitting a wall at work where everything felt stale, and I started thinking, “Is this it?” I’m in my early 40s, not exactly a tech whiz, and honestly thought learning Python would be like learning alien code, so why not give it a try?! Then I read this book and the key word "for beginners" sold me on it! I like how it simply goes over difficult concepts and provides literally step-by-step guidance. I remember messing up a loop in one of the early exercises and almost rage-quitting, no kidding! But after stepping away and cooling down for a minute, I went right back, because I'm not a quitter! One thing I can tell anyone for sure, it’s not too late to learn something new to prove to yourself you can do ANYTHING!

Great clear exposition of python NOT a.i. generated slop it's the real deal!!!!! 5* RECOMMEND!
Great introduction to python! Covers all the basics thoroughly in clear detail. It even discusses, briefly, the advanced libraries we're all into pytorch numpy gaming libraries. This is the clear cogent foundation you need to be able to work with python. It is NOT a.i. generated slop with empty platitudes and generalities. It's a clear cogent exposition of python and I love it! NOTE: The interview questions and answers are NOT included in the book but can be obtained from a link in the book, presumably to the author's mailing list. So if you get upset or flustered looking for interviw q&a that isn't there now you know where to find it.

Not Game Changing But A Good First Step Or Refresh
I picked this up just out of a curiosity for python. So I am a total beginner with no knowledge. The book is broken into comfortable pieces with hands-on exercises you can try out, which can really help things click. I also really liked the formatting of the book. What i wish it had though would be an index, as someone brand new to this. I'd love to be able to reference all the definitions somewhere in this book. That would be a great addition as this book is geared towards beginners. If you're a complete noob like me and want a quick, practical starter guide with exercises, I don't see it landing me a job for sure, but it's a good start. Also, I got this discounted. I think the original price is a bit expensive, and i definitely wouldn't pay full price for this.

Amazing book
This book is really friendly and understanding. It gets that a lot of people starting out don’t come from a tech background and might find all the programming talk confusing. It helps build your confidence by showing you how to use Python in real-life situations right away. That way, you can see how useful it is and start using it to fix problems or open up new job chances quickly. I learnt a lot from it and wanted to share.

Great for Total Beginners!
I am in the midst of shifting careers so that's why I purchased Python Programming for Beginners and it is the first book that made coding actually feel like I can do this! The lessons are clear, beginner-friendly, and practical. I loved the real-world examples and bonus exercises; they really helped things click. If you are new to tech and want to learn Python without feeling overwhelmed, this is the perfect place to start.

Simple and thorough
This was the perfect Python programming book for me. As a beginner who already has experience with HTML and CSS, I needed a guide that would help me figure out Python pretty quickly for a project I was working on. Everything I needed was in this book, so I’m super happy with it. Simple and thorough.

Needs some serious editing
As an experienced professional learning a new language, I tunneled through this book in just a few sessions. With a background as an educator, I can see potential, and serious limitations, in this text. This text is easy to follow and as an introductory text I would rate it as "adequate". However I certainly am looking for a more complete text that has been through a professional editorial process. There are some outright errors and laughable statements in this text:“Regardless of the type of code you use, keep in mind that the primary goal of using functions as a programmer is to solve problems with LESS REUSABLE code”.“When you divide a number by zero, the value is USUALLY undefined because it is referred to as an INFINITE value”…Many of the sentences are simple and declarative, and show very little personality, leading me to suspect AI was used to fill out sections of the presentation.A sense of what the learning objectives are for each chapter, and a matching of exercises to the objectives, is needed. I would like to see exercises for EVERY chapter, not just some of them. Some exercises require concepts that have not yet been introduced (for example Chapter 6, exercise 4 requires conditionals, that are introduced in Chapter 7).Some important topics should be covered but are omitted. For example: recursion, and how to THROW an exception, not just catch it.

Very helpful
I've been very interested in learning Python and after completing my studies where I learned Java it made me realize that learning another programming language that could help me on my day-to-day would be essential. I work with a big amount of data everyday and this book is helping me to understand how to manipulate and analyze that data using Python which is great. I highly recommend it.
