Does anyone else have a problem with the regulator not threading into the bottle

Yes. It went it about one quarter of a turn then stopped. Several reviews mentioned this problem. Ordered Betool regulators twice and the gauges did not work. Giving Amazon one more try and if this one doesn't work, I will buy one at a welding supply.

Do you read flow from top or center of ball?

This is just my take on this, the bottom of the ball represents zero at rest (no flow). I use the bottom of the ball as reference for all flow settings.

So you need to get a separate adapter to use on 20lb CO2 tanks?

i use co2 if i remember it came with it

Will this fit the yeswelder tig 205ds?

Yes! The hose that came with unit should fit into adapter that comes with regulator.
