It adds to the enjoyment of the journey
This has had a mixed reception from customers and the English instructions need to be studied carefully. However, perseverance will be rewarded. You need to find a position on the spoke for the magnet that leaves a gap of no more than 2 mm with the sensor on the fork. Move the sensor and magnet up or down to give this gap, then fix both in position. Also, make sure that the computer is pushed fully onto the bracket, so that the contact pins on both make full contact. Do not pull the cable tie attachments too tightly, otherwise they will snap. Use the tyre diameter moulded on your tyre to input the number into the computer, as detailed in the instructions. The first bike ride with the computer was a revelation. It adds to the enjoyment of the journey. The computer is a real bargain for the price.Happy cycling.

Excellent value for money (but limited in accuracy)
Having has a problem with an expensive shop bought cycle speedo, I tried three from Amazon (total cost less than the shop bought one) as I couldn't decide which to go for and the descriptions weren't too good.Of the three this is the closest to my previous speedos and offer a mode of use I find most useful: being able to see current speed and average speed - in this way I find the average speed encouragement to keep going trying to get the average as high as possible. But with the +/- indicator I have this and can have another statistic displayed, eg current time.Unlike my previous speedos the wheel circumference is set to the nearest mm (not cm) but to be honest I'm not too sure if this really that useful - tread wear, tyre inflation, etc are likely to change actual circumference by a mm or two. But it doesn't reset the total distance (however unless the total distance is reentered when setting the device it seems to add the current value on - might be me not doing it right).Pros: has a big display for the current speed which is almost instantly updated. Underneath is a smaller display which can display different things (current time, total distance, trip distance, Max speed, average moving speed, trip moving time, scan: rotate between the trip displays). It also has a + or - indicator to let you know if your current speed is more or less than your average speed.Cons: no light!Update:After using this in conjunction with another cycle speedo (both set to the same wheel size) for several months now, it appears that this one is limited in its accuracy: my journey to work is about 9 miles. What stood out and caused me to investigate further was that towards the end of my 9 mile journey average speeds should only change slowly, but this one jumps quite a few tenths of a mph at a time - there are average speeds it cannot display; similarly there are current road speeds it cannot display. The faster the speed the less accurate it becomes. But what is to be expected from such a cheap and feature packed speedo?Having said that I have no intention of removing it from my bike as it provides a useful approximate speed (that is more accurate than a car speedo) and allows me to have the second speedo show average speed along with trip distance - all useful stats in motivating my 6am cycle ride to work. In this respect it is still excellent value for money.

Good for the price
I have had one of these before and it worked well. This is a replacement as it 'disappeared' when I forgot and left it on my bike. It is easy to put on and take out of the holder, although make sure it is seated properly each time. It took several weeks to arrive and there were no instructions and no battery and a very slight mark on the face. However have found the instructions on line (thank you fellow reviewer) and put a battery in and looking forward to using it again.

HOW TO SET THIS UP & TYRE SIZE CHART
So mine came with no instructions at all. I managed to work out some of it by pressing buttons, but some settings are a mystery if you are unfamiliar with this kind of device. Anyway, after some detective work, here is the user manual and tire size chart (uploading as images) and here is a link to a generic video on how to install wireless and wired cycle computers, which should get you there.Only been out with it once, but seems to work reasonably well.UPDATE: So Amazon shrank the images I uploaded to an unreadable size and removed the links to the video, which is not very helpful. So you need to Google for:SUNDING SD-548C user manual and find the PDFOr you can hover over the image of the manual to bring it up, then move your mouse over it and right-click and choose VIEW IMAGE to see it at a readable size (it works in FireFox browser anyway)And go on YouTube and search for 'install wireless and wired cycle computers' or similar

It's ok but ....
The problem with this item is that there are no instructions with it. I recognise that it is very cheap and if you get it working it is good value. The bubble pack it came in left no room for instructions so presumably there is no intention to include them.So you have 2 buttons to press to sort it out. That I have now done with the exception of the current time (I presume that is what it is) and it works fine on my bike - do I really go that slow!! But I don't particularly like having to sort these sort of things out from scratch and would look elsewhere next time if I need another one.For fitting it on the bike it is worth watching a generic video on youtube which explains it, that part is straightforward. Just make sure that the gap between the sensor and magnet is as close as you can make it.

I think it is excellent value for money
I've read some rather biting remarks from people who felt this was not up to their expectations. I don't know what they paid for their model, but the price I paid would just about cover a replacement battery. On that basis, I think it is excellent value for money; for one thing, it is still working, which I cannot say for several far more expensive models I have had to discard. It does everything I want from a cycle computer, and all it says it will.

Lacked Battery Power
The battery lasted about 2 hours. You get what you pay for. I ended up buying an odometer from 'Muddy Fox' was has a battery that has lasted months so far, and is still going. This is easy to set up, but if you buy it, buy extra batteries at the same time. I can't say if it actually works properly because I personally didn't bother buying new batteries for it. I will probably give it to my young nephew as it is probably more suited to the younger generation as it looks cheap.
