My husband needed an alternative to electrolytes for a couple of ultra marathons in high temperatures as he sweats a lot. These were recommended to him by a friend and they turned out to work very well with no side effects noticed. Coupled with carb chews also from Precision Hydration, they worked well as part of an overall fuelling plan.

I am currently training for a 50k Ultra in July and long runs are on the 20 mile mark now, I have suffered horrendous cramp in my calves on a couple of occasions on these longer runs. Bought these capsules to use alongside the same brand gels, took one an hour before my run today and then 1 on the hour during (used 3 in total for 20 mile / 3 hour run) not even a twinge, finished strong! So so pleased and will be using these every time now. Highly recommended 🌟

Recommended to me by my running coach. Great to carry for endurance events. Easily swallowed with water. I used for the Fan Dance in summer and it kept cramp at bay - which when you are climbing a mountain twice is a real plus! Customer service is excellent - particularly liked the hand written note inside. The company is made up of people who actually do the events that these products are designed for - so they know what they are talking about. Would definitely use this product and company again.

I was recommended these due to previously suffering cramp in my quads during a running ultra. Used this year for the same event. I didnt suffer the cramps but the conditions/training and nutrition were all completely different. What i would say is that i would continue to use these in the future as an insurance policy against cramps/lack of electrolytes however they are a large pill to swallow and the packaging is a bit of a pig whilst mid-run.

I cant stand the taste of the soluble tablets that you add to water so these were ideal. Usually when I go for a long walk I suffer in the evening with severe left muscle cramp. I have just completed a 110 miles over 5 days and suffered no cramp at all taking 3 of these tablets a day.

I’ve been struggling with post exercise headaches for years caused by hydration and could not hydrate no matter how much water I drank. I gave these tabs a shot and it made a difference. I then used the brand precision hydrations free advice service where you can email them and a human (I think) emails back with advice on getting right salt water balance and you can get a follow up video call to advice on what energy and electrolytes/salt you are likely to personally require. For salt tablets alone they are a bit expensive but the service this company offer is amazing and I’m willing to pay up to get rid of horrible headaches.

Ich nutze die Salztabletten hauptsächlich bei Marathon- und Ultraläufen, um Krämpfen vorzubeugen bzw. im Ernstfall vorbereitet zu sein. Bisher haben sie dabei immer zuverlässig funktioniert und ich hatte durchweg gute Erfahrungen damit. Auch die Verträglichkeit ist bei mir sehr gut – selbst bei längeren Belastungen gab es keinerlei Probleme. Ein Punkt, den man allerdings beachten sollte: Die Kapseln sind recht groß. Wer Schwierigkeiten hat, größere Medikamente oder Kapseln zu schlucken, könnte hier Probleme bekommen. Für solche Fälle wären klassische Tabletten eventuell die bessere Wahl, zumal es diese oft auch als größere und günstigere Packungen gibt. Ich habe mich dennoch bewusst für die Kapsel-Variante entschieden, weil sie einzeln verpackt sind. Dadurch lassen sie sich perfekt portionieren und direkt am Körper transportieren, ohne dass sie durch Schweiß oder Feuchtigkeit aufweichen. Gerade bei langen Läufen und Wettkämpfen ist das für mich ein großer Vorteil.

Ich hatte diese bei einem 110km Traillauf dabei und war echt begeistert! Keine Krämpfe, und ich hatte genug Energie für das Rennen (ca. 19h), zusätzlich zu meinem ISO und den Carbs. Das Wetter war richtig warm, so zwischen 24 und 27 Grad. Kann es nur empfehlen!

These make my long runs so much better!

Note that the pills are very large, so you definetly need to drink water or have a gel to get it down properly. Overall good, but I wish the pills were a bit more spread apart to make it easier to cut individual blisters for runs.
