CCS1 Charger Adapter, Compatible with All CCS Chargers, Upgrade CCS Before Using CCS Adapter

This CCS adapter for Tesla works as advertised. It is a good option for those who do a lot of road trips, as it increases your choice and on some rare you can also get a cheaper charging rate compared to the Tesla Superchargers.

This works perfectly on my 2023 Model Y and greatly extends the selection of high speed chargers available to your Tesla. No configuration required. The only thing to be aware of is that this is heavy and puts some downward strain on the small plug insertion. So be gentle on the cable. I feel if you pulled down you could do damage. This is all very manageable. Note it came in a very well protected molded foam packing. I keep the unit in that. I suggest you do the same and don’t throw away the box.

I bought for road trips in the event I find only a ccs charger . Seems to work fine. It doesn’t charge as fast as superchargers but that could be the charging station. Adaptor is nice thing to have in case i need it on read trip.

I do not recommend this product. I drive a Tesla model 3 and while on a road trip a Tesla supercharger was out of order so we went to an Electrify America charging station. While at the station I tried 3 different stalls and different payment methods to try and get it started. Nothing would work. The charger just said “Connecting to Vehicle” the entire time. I managed to barely make it to another supercharger to charge back up.Unless you want to get stranded, get the official Tesla CCS adapter. It’s worth paying more.

Went on a long trip with our Tesla. We always seek out the Tesla charge stations. At our destination we had to use a Electrify America charger. Glad we purchased this to make our charge otherwise we would of had to drive 50 miles each time to charge. Put one in your car as you might not have a Tesla charge close by and have to use an alternative charging station. Just an FYI

It just works, it's that simple. Plug it in and it charges.Electrifi America chargers on the other hand.....let's just say they can be problematic. Not related to this adapter though.

This is comparable to other CCS/CCS1 adapters you will find on Amazon. The material is very solid and it's heavy for its size. The connections fit snugly and you do get 250KW in charging rate, as the listing advertises.

This probably is the cheapest close to the OEM adapter available in the US. According to the product picture, it looks exactly the same as the OEM one. I will update after charging with it.Update: It works on the Electrify America up to 81kw on the 150kw stall. Maybe my Tesla wasn't warmed fully.
