Great alternative to paper for kids to express their artistic side or to practice writing and math skills!
My daughter asked for a white board for Christmas so I thought this would be the perfect solution. I got one for my 5yr old and 3yr old and they're great! I love that there's a white side and a black side, so they can use the brighter colors on the black for a different look. We've practiced writing names with the 3yr old and it gives my artistic 5yr old a great medium for drawing without having 50 pieces of paper strewn about the place. They are a little difficult to wipe down with the dry erase crayons...my 3yr old needs my help to get it...but once you get it going it's not as hard. I can't wait to take these on our road trip next month!

Great for young kids - keeps them busy at church :)
We use these for "mommy school" with my 1 and 3 year old. I have a board, I draw something on mine and they try and immitate it. I purchased the one-sided option for myself, and wish I had just splurged and bought us all the two-sided boards :) They are worth the extra money, as the other one has a cheap feeling cardboard backing and these have the fun black side to use the lighter colors on.They have helped my three year old learn to write two letters of his name, and my one year old enjoys pretending to make letters as we have a little school-time. As a stay at home mom, I love finding educational tools like this that the kids find as fun as toys. I keep them away except for church or our "school" time, and it keeps them exciting and the fun hasnt worn off even after a month or two of use.I am just now finding that I need to wash the erasing cloths that were included.Definately a great tool for busy mommies who want to help teach their young kids, but still make it fun.

Dry-Erase Fun!
I own a tutoring business, and this is one of my essentials. The choice of black-side or white-side for writing spelling words or practicing math facts makes it just a bit more fun. The older version of this board I have has a shiny black side, which I use with wet-erase markers or the neon markers; the crayons just don't show up on it. I think they changed the texture of it to go with the crayons though, because the newer one I have is a more matte texture, which is better for the crayons. The crayons are not my favorite-- the kids find them really hard to erase. They don't really work for PreK children, as they cannot erase them when they are done.

Fun but messy
My kids love this board but the crayons are a bit messy/greasy and they don't wash off easily. It's still a fun toy and a nice whiteboard option (we have two large whiteboards and sets of markers but this is "different" and fun. The other nice thing is the crayons don't smell. I would give it 5 stars but it's not nearly as washable as crayola's other washable products. I have a blue hand and a red stain on my shirt today just from writing a simple breakfast message and not being very careful so you can imagine how that will work with small children :)

Love this!
Love this!! The crayons are so so easy to wash off, but they don't rub off the board like dry erase markers do. Plus, the board is two-sided so when my kid colors to the edges of one side, she doesn't have to erase what she's done to keep drawing! The crayons are thick so they're a great size for toddler hands. And the best part of all is that it's virtually mess free. I can take this on road trips, plane rides, etc without having to worry about stained fabrics, waxy crayon marks to wipe down, dusty dry-erase residue... It's definitely become my go-to boredom fighter for my daughter.

Waste of Money
I bought three of these dry erase boards for my grandsons - ages 6, 3, and 2. The concept is a good one and it seemed like the kids would like drawing on them, However this product has some major problems. 1) The packaging is terrible. It's hard to unwrap; easy to tear. 2) The markers leave permanent stains on the board. 3) It's extremely difficult for an adult to 'erase' the board, and impossible for kids. The marker crayon sticks like glue to the board. A kid cannot erase the board, eventually gets discouraged with the product and doesn't want to use it anymore. 4) The erase cloth is too small, and the markers stain it. After several drawing sessions, the cloth is saturated with marker stains - and it's ready for the trash. 5) Once the eraser cloth is unusable, the dry erase board can't be used anymore. This board doesn't come with spares or suggestions for what to do when the enclosed cloth can't be used anymore, or is lost. I am very disappointed in this product. I spent ~$30 for three boards that my grandkids can't use, and wasted my money.

Cheap material
I'm giving this four stars for the quality of the board. It is pretty much cardboard, not like a dry erase board at all. If your kid presses hard enough it will leave indentations in the board. My kid loves it though and the crayons are great. I also use the crayons we got from this set on our my first crayola board we have since they draw nicely.

great board
18month old really enjoyed it. it can be really messy though. we tried using the regular washable crayons from crayola and they worked well, much cleaner than the dry erase crayons. but dont expect it to have the same effect. we just use it mainly for writing and drawing on the white side. if you'll be coloring, dry erase crayons work best. dont bother using the eraser cloth, a damp paper towel will do. just throw it in the trash after using, no more washing if the eraser cloth gets really dirty.

Good does the job
Bought this for 3 year old on a 4 hour car journey & a weeks caravan stay in the hopes I can leave pens/paper at home. I'm very pleased with it I can't understand why there are such negative reviews it does exactly what you would expect. Here are the pros:- It's lightweight (yes a bit card boardy but any heavier and it would be a pain to travel with)- No felt tips, no marks on clothes, mess free!- Multiple colours- Wipe & draw again (wipes easily, might need a bit of pressure so may need a grown up if the child is young)- 2 sided- Comes with all you need (crayons, eraser)Cons:- its manufactured a little cheaply and if kids stand on the board or throw it, it could break- the crayons aren't bright they're normal crayons and they show up like normal wax crayons. On the black side they are like pastel chalks, not bright and colourful but you can see them just fine. The "bright" marketing is misleading and disingenuous in my opinion. This doesn't bother me but it's probably why the product has some bad reviews- it's not magnetic so doesn't dual as a picture board for magnets- there's no side compartment for your crayons and bits & pieces- it's a bit overpriced I paid Β£8.24 and felt a little ripped off though I kept the product cos I think it will be usefulI think if your after a basic white board without the worry of pens this is great. Just don't expect fancy glowing crayons, it's all very basic.

Useful
Even though its branded for children who doesnt need a dry erase board π I have it stuck up beside my bedroom door and I use it for reminders which has helped so much with my adhd, the multicolored writing options also help to keep things interesting πππ

Not worth it
I purchased to make online learning more fun for the kids. We already had A4 sized whiteboards which are brilliant, but I loved the look of a black version and how the colours would pop, making it exciting. The colours look fab on the whiteboard but sad on the black. Also, the board itself feels cheap and will dent in several places as it isn't completely solid. There appears to be some sort of cushioning between. Lastly, it requires some muscle to erase the writings and drawings with the cloth provided - my 9 year old struggles to clean it at times.

Amazing for busy parents.
This product was a fantastic purchase for my nearly three year old. Unlike a normal white board you don't get messy clothes/any surfaces, or messy children! Not only is it good for use around the house, but also brilliant for use on long car journeys as it has a rubber grip around the sides so it stays nicely on the edges of her carseat creating almost what could be explained as a lap tray - the rubber grips also make for easy drawing on slippery surfaces. The crayons are truly fab! they don't rub off with light pressure resulting in a frustrated tot, they require just the right amount of pressure to remove using the cloth included.
