Simple product; reasonable price
I bought this adapter to allow use of a wireless connection for a Roland VS-2000CD digital audio workstation. Unfortunately, having tried it, the Roland does not seem designed to allow a wireless connection. I do not think that this is due to a problem with the adapter. The Roland has only a single port for a mouse. I wanted to use a wireless USB keyboard and mouse that share a single transmitter but it is not working with this device. I can continue to use a wired PS/2 mouse but was hoping to eliminate the clutter of the wires. I also have an older computer that I am going to try it with.

Good parts to connect USB to the older PS2 ports
These are great for using newer mouses and keyboards into older equipment. I found that these work well for both mice and keyboards. They are easy to use, just connect USB to PS2 connectors.

Doesn’t work with all products unless it’s an actual computer
Never worked when connected to a KVM which I expected it to.

Doesn't work in my Dell Optiplex 70xx or Windows 11
I got a hold of some Dell Optiplex 7000 machines and saw PS/2 ports on it. I thought it would be a good idea to get these to plug my keyboard and mouse into the PS/2 ports and save me 2 USB-A ports. It turns out they don't work as I intended. The mouse gets power but doesn't work and they keyboard doesn't get power at all. After much investigation, I found that legacy devices must be enabled in BIOS - which means secure boot must be turned off. Windows 11 will not work without secure boot so this ends my journey with these adapters. I ended up plugging the keyboard and mouse into USB-A ports.I'm keeping the adapters because they were affordable enough.
