Martina Holtz: Voggy's Glockenspiel Book

Took this on holiday with a glockenspiel - must be mad!? So the kids could learn something new rather than play on consoles. They loved it!! They learned what to do and were very happy with it. Nice book.

My son started to learn glockenspiel through school. This aided in his learning, the book is very sturdy and comb bound making it great to lay flat anf being able to fold it over.

We have an Angel glockenspiel that has coloured bars. I thought there would be an agreed convention for the colour of the notes, but there isn't. So a red crotchet 'e' in the book is a yellow key on the glockenspiel. My five year old daughter is enjoying playing, I don't know how she manages with the colours, it muddles me if I have a go and I can read music.

A little overpriced for some simple pieces but difficult to find a book for a Glockenspiel.

informative for older children perhaps 10 tears onwards good musical guide for glockenspiels.would recommend,it has step by step music notes
